Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were the most favourite couple, and their wedding celebration was no less than a fairytale. From Samantha's love story embellished dreamy engagement saree to her opting for Naga Chaitanya's grandmother's saree on their wedding day, it was all like one beautiful dream. But it all ended in 2021 after they announced their separation. As Naga Chaitanya gave love another chance with Sobhita Dhulipala and got married to her, his first wedding photos resurfaced on the internet.
Though Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's love story ended, one thing is clear—they had set relationship goals for people and when they were together, nothing could go wrong. Talking about their wedding, one could clearly see the immense love they used to have for each other.
The ex-couple got married in Goa with a serene setup. For the celebration, Samantha wore Chaitanya's granny Dr. Rajeshwari's saree with Sabyasachi Mukherjee's blouse that accentuated her whole look. She accessorised her look with temple jewellery. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya looked smart in white traditional wear.
In some of the photos, we can see how Samantha and Naga Chaitanya were enjoying every moment of the traditional ceremony. From teasing each other during a ritual and pandit ji giving them instructions to making memories without any idea about their dreaded future together.

Samantha was madly-in-love with Naga Chaitanya, so much so, that she got herself inked to stay close to the love of her life. The first tattoo she got was 'YMC', which was the initials of her first film, Ye Maaya Chesave, on her back. It featured Naga Chaitanya and their love story, which started on its sets.
The second tattoo Samantha got was on the right side of her ribs; it featured the words 'Chay' written in cursive. The third tattoo was on Samantha's right wrist. It was a symbol of two upward arrows, and Chay has a similar tattoo on his right wrist as well.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita's love story ended on a sad note. It was just four days before their fourth wedding anniversary when Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their divorce. She accepted the rumours that were making rounds and added that they had decided to part ways as husband and wife. Her note also stated that they had friendship for over a decade, which was the core of their relationship. The note could be read as:
"To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us."
