But, recently, Sahil made headlines for a completely different reason as he announced his 22-year-old wife, Milena Alexandra's conversion to Islam.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Sahil Khan shared a collaborative post with his sister wherein he announced his wife's decision to convert to Islam. He shared three pictures with it; in the first, Sahil was seen posing with his wife; in the second, he focused on his Limited Edition Rolex Rainbow watch worth Rs. 4 crores, and in the third, he shared a short snippet featuring his wife. Khan captioned the post writing:
"Very Proud to Announce That My Wife Milena Alexandra. Has Chosen To Embrace Islam. Alhamdulillah For This Beautiful Journey! May Allah Forgive Us & Accept Our Prayers."
As Sahil Khan announced the news on Instagram, his post received mixed reactions. While some users congratulated the couple, most of them criticised the actor for it. Some even called him out for allegedly pressuring his 22-year-old wife to convert after marriage, questioning the reason for it.
One user questioned, "Is it necessary to change religion after marriage?" Another fan asked, "If you really love her, then why do you want to change her religion to accept whatever she is?" Sahil Khan was previously married to Norwegian actress, Negar Khan, who worked in Bollywood. The former couple tied the knot in 2003 and parted ways in 2005. Khan surprised his fans in 2024 when he shared pictures with his now wife, Milena, and revealed they got engaged in Russia and later tied the knot legally. She is from Belarus, Europe, and had just completed her studies when they met and fell in love.
