Ruhaanika Of 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' Scores 91 Percent In 12th Boards: 'Halted My Acting Career For..'

Ruhanika Dhawan received a lot of love for her character 'Roohi' in Yeh Hain Mohabbatein. People literally saw her grow up from a young girl into a fine young woman who knows what she wants in her life. At the age of sixteen, Ruhanika even purchased her own home with her own money. Now, she opened up about her class 12th result, and oh boy, she excelled with flying colours. 

Ruhanika Dhawan scored 91 per cent in her 12th boards

According to an Instagram page, Instant Bollywood, Ruhanika secured 91 percent in her 12th class board examination. She was studying in the International Baccalaureate (IB) board, and the results of the same were announced on May 20, 2025. In an interaction, Ruhanika revealed that she had stepped away from acting for three years to focus on her studies, and she truly thought it was worth it. She said:

"I am very happy to have scored 91 percent in my boards. I have worked really hard. I halted my acting career for three years to focus on my studies, and now I feel it was all worth it."

Ruhaanika further stated that she expressed how her parents had faith in her, and she proved them right. She also added that the other actors were working on projects, and she chose to spend that time studying. She said:

"They had faith in me, and I have proved them right, which feels great. While other actors my age were working and taking up projects, I chose to focus on my studies."

Ruhanika Dhawan bought her first home in 2023

It is worth mentioning that apart from studying, Ruhanika also attained another milestone by purchasing her own home. On January 1, 2023, Ruhanika took to her Instagram handle and posted two adorable pictures of her new home. In the photo, Ruhanika was showing off the keys to her new home. Alongside it, Ruhanika revealed that she always dreamed of buying her own home, and it finally turned into reality this year. She also thanked her mother for helping her and saving her every hard-earned penny to help her buy this new place.

In the next picture, Ruhanika was seen posing with her father just outside of her brand-new home. Along with it, Ruhanika penned a long note as she thanked everyone who helped her. An excerpt of her note can be read as:

"I have check marked a very big dream- “Buying a home on my own.” This is very huge for me and my folks. I couldn’t wait to share this with you all. My parents and I are extremely thank full for all the platforms and opportunities I have gotten which have helped me achieve this dream. Of course,this wouldn’t have been possible without the help and guidance of my parents and as I write this I know how blessed I feel to have them. Special mention to my mother who is some magician she in all ways is Desi mother who saves every penny and doubles it. "

Ruhanika Dhawan acting career

We all remember Ruhanika as the cute little girl 'Ruhi' in Star Plus' television show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, and her conquest to bring her Ishi Maa and papa together. She made her debut with the show, Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein in 2012.
