Zubeen Garg, the heartthrob singer of Assam, gained fame throughout India with his soulful music. He was widely known for the hit song, Ya Ali. But on September 19, 2025, Zubeen left for the heavenly abode, leaving his family and a million fans heartbroken. Fans also fulfilled his last wish. For the unversed, during a concert, the Ya Ali singer once wished that his song, Mayabini Ratir Bukut, was being sung by fans at his funeral. Now that Zubeen’s last film, Roi Roi Binale released nationwide, fans have shared their reviews.
Weeks after the tragic demise of Zubeen Garg, his wife, Garima, shared a handwritten note written by the Ya Ali singer. It was the last heartfelt note that Zubeen wrote to his fan. The note was an invitation for the fan to come to theatres and watch his film, Roi Roi Binale. However, when Garima revealed Zubeen's last words, it moved his fans to tears. Before leaving for Singapore, Zubeen had written the note. For the uninitiated, Zubeen passed away in Singapore due to drowning on September 19, 2025. The note can be read as:
"Wait, wait a little, my new film is coming. Do come and watch it. Love, Zubeen Da."

For those unaware, Zubeen’s last film, Roi Roi Binale, was released on October 31, 2025. Roi Roi Binale is a musical drama that follows a blind musician on his journey through life. It featured his dreams, love, and passion for music. Zubeen Garg played the lead role of the blind musician, blending both emotion and passion into the character. The film has highlighted how music becomes his strength, despite innumerable challenges. It also featured 11 beautiful songs that were composed by Zubeen himself.

Soon after the film hit the big screens, Zubeen’s fans watched it and also shared their reviews. Calling it a blockbuster, a fan wrote, "Roi Roi Binale is going to be one of indian cinema’s biggest blockbusters in terms of cost-to-return ratio. We are witnessing history being made in front of our eyes, 185 shows in Guwahati alone on the first day, with the first one starting at 4:25 a.m. Gosh, this is something." Another fan penned, "Roi Roi Binale is certainly gonna break all records of the Assamese movie industry. Even with the excitement of watching this movie, there's a void that our very own lead won't be there. I wish there were a time machine to undo. #zubeengarg."

Sharing grief, a fan wrote, "Watched Roi Roi Binale, now I’m completely broken. It’s not just sadness, it’s this emptiness that eats you from inside. can’t explain it, just feels too real." Another fan penned, "Roi roi binale. This should be released in all national and international editions. Zubeen's justice will be more super if this is done. Since every other movie can be dubbed, this can also be. The more exposure, the more knowing."
