RJ Ashish Sharma REACTS On Wife's Death After Claims Of Her Committing Suicide Due To Him Surfaced

RJ Ashish Sharma is in grief as he lost his wife, Ruchi Sharma in a 'tragic incident'. However, he didn't mention the cause of his wife's death, which made netizens speculate what could have gone wrong. Amidst it, a user claiming to be their classmate revealed shocking details about Ruchi's death and her being in emotional turmoil due to the on-going divorce battle with Ashish and dying by suicide. Now, Ashish Sharma reacted to the same.

Ashish Sharma shared his first statement after classmate claimed his wife committed suicide

On April 23, 2025, Ashish took to his Instagram stories, and posted a note for people enquiring about what happened to his wife. Ashish revealed that his family has been going through a tough time, and his son is dealing with a lot. He requested everyone to give him privacy, and wrote:

"This is a mourning period for us. The family and my son are going through a very difficult time. In this time, I request you all to give the family some time privacy."

Taking to his Instagram handle, Ashish shared a note and a couple of unseen pictures with his wife, Ruchi over the course of their dating and marital life. The RJ-turned-influencer also shared how he met Ruchi when he was 18 years old and fell head over heels in love with her. However, it was Ashish's note that showed he loved Ruchi immensely. But it is worth noting that Ashish didn't mention the cause of death of his wife, and tagged it as 'tragic incident'. He wrote:

"We met in 2004, Bangalore. 18 years old college kids. Pretty sincere while dating. Nine years of dating followed by marriage and then having a most charming kid together. 21 years of relationship was not less than a roller coaster ride, mix of every emotion but I never thought of this terrible day ever. I lost my wife in a tragic incident."

Further, in the heart-wrenching note, Ashish revealed how he felt deep sorrow in his heart to share his wife's death news with the world. He prayed hard that it was a nightmare and his wife would still be with him. He further requested everyone to pray for his wife and bless her. He wrote:

"Dum ghutt raha hai ye batane mein, she’s no more. Can’t believe it, don’t want to believe it. Kaash bol sakta, it’s just a nightmare but it’s not. With folded hands, I request one and all to pray for her and bless her. Hope, she’s happy and healthy, smiling and shining the brightest. Always in our hearts. RIP Ruchi."

It was Ashish Sharma's former classmate, who revealed the entire truth about Ruchi Sharma's death in a now-deleted comment. The user shared that Ashish had omitted a crucial fact in his wife's obituary, claiming that their relationship was on the verge of breaking. The classmate shared that Ashish's wife was living separately with their 12-year-old son amid the ongoing divorce battle. The same person shared that due to the emotional turmoil, she decided to end her life.
