Tagged as one of the cutest couples of the glamour world, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh reinstates our faith in love and marriage. It was in the year 2002, when two youngsters, Riteish and Genelia, with a dream of making it big in the entertainment industry, had met each other at the Hyderabad airport. It was for the test shoot of their debut film, Tujhe Meri Kasam. Genelia had a preconceived notion about Riteish for hailing from an influential political family.
But as they say, some things are just meant to be. During the shoot, the two had struck a beautiful friendship, which had eventually turned into love. After dating one another for ten years, Riteish and Genelia had tied the knot on February 3, 2012. Together, this lovely couple had knitted a happy world with their two adorable kids, Riaan and Rahyl. One look at Riteish and Genelia will make you believe in true love. Riteish and Genelia’s Mumbai home is filled with memories attached to his late father and former late Chief Minister, Vilasrao Deshmukh with a dash of love and warmth.

Riteish Deshmukh has an architectural degree from Sir JJ College of Architecture in Mumbai and the actor has beautifully used it while taking care of the interiors of his house. The entrance of his home has grey stone stairs with a huge pastel white door. The entrance also has two large white pillars, adding a royal touch to it.

The most loved and special place in Riteish and Genelia’s home is the centre stairway, where everyone gathers for a family picture. The stairway that open both the ways to the upper floors is huge with white and grey marble stairs. In the centre of the stairways, there is a huge portrait of Riteish’s father and former Chief Minister, Vilasrao Deshmukh.

The large living room has grey sofas with dark brown wall panels. Talking about the decor of the house, it has geometrically aligned lights, contemporary furniture and subtle wall colours. The entire house is done with vibrant, yet classy decor and the walls are adorned with beautiful artworks, perfectly complementing to the colour palette of the walls. Riteish and Genelia’s workout space is semi open and is also quite huge.
Riteish and Genelia’s home has well-placed lights that adds more vibrance and life to it. Riteish considers light as an important highlight of their house and every nook and corner is a perfect example of it. The lovely couple is quite active on social media and one of their favourite space is in front of a dark wood panelling that is well lit and adds a royal touch to it.

Riteish loves keeping their house minimalistic but on the other hand, Genelia makes sure to add colour and vivaciousness to it. A corner of the house has navy blue window pullers where we have seen the lovely couple clicking a lot of pictures. The window pullers are complemented with a light brown wooden flooring. Another special corner of the house is the brick wall, where we have seen beautiful memories being created.
Riteish Deshmukh has a fine taste in art and often dons his artistic cap. Sometimes back, we got a hold of his artistic work on the glass window of the house, where he beautifully painted the portrait of a lion. In 2017, Genelia had taken to her IG handle and had shared another masterpiece created by Riteish. Sharing a window art of a Santa Claus created by her hubby, Genelia had written, “Another window art by @riteishd… no better way to ring in the festivities and to get the kids excited to paint their own Santa. #HappyHolidays.”
