Amidst people eagerly waiting for the next update about Rinku and Priya's wedding, the cricketer's sister recently shared the unheard love story about her brother and to-be sister-in-law, Priya.

Rinku Singh's sister, Neha Singh, recently sat for an interview on Rohit Arya's podcast, wherein she was asked about the kind of bond she shares with her to-be-bhabhi, Priya Saroj. To this, Neha said that Priya and Rinku both have the same nature. Neha added that even when Priya remains busy, and she happens to call her, the politician never cuts her call or leaves her messages unattended. In the same interview, the host asked about Priya and Rinku's love story, which is an unusual bond given that she is a politician while he's a cricketer. To this, Neha revealed the real love story of Priya and Rinku.

In the interview, Neha Singh said that Priya Saroj has a sister, who resides in Aligarh, whose husband has a clothing business. Well, Priya's sister and brother-in-law decided to do a promotion by requesting Rinku Singh to give a shoutout to them. Priya was the one to contact one of Rinku's friends about the same, and eventually, the cricketer got to talking with her, leading to the beginning of their love story.

Neha mentioned that the first thing Rinku did was to inform his mother about Priya. When asked if the cricketer is really close to his mom, Neha revealed that it's actually true, and he shares everything with his mom. On being asked whether Priya was already familiar with Rinku's successful career, Neha added that Priya's father never watched cricket matches, so he didn't know her brother, but her to-be bhabhi was well aware of Rinku's fame.

Why did Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj decide to postpone their wedding?

Earlier, it was reported that Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj were all set to get married on November 18, 2025, and they even already booked the Taj Hotel in Varanasi. However, the duo has postponed their wedding, and the date has been shifted to February 2026, while the exact date hasn't been revealed yet. While the actual reason for Rinku postponing the wedding wasn't known, it was reported that it was due to the cricketer's work commitments in November 2025.

Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj's engagement ceremony was held at The Centrum Hotel in Lucknow. For the day, Rinku Singh wore a white-hued sherwani. On the other hand, the bride-to-be, Priya, looked gorgeous in a soft-pink-toned lehenga with heavy embroidery, and the couple looked like a match made in heaven.
