Well, Riddhima Kapoor’s wedding with industrialist Bharat Sahni was no less. Sarling daughter of veteran actors, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima didn’t follow her parents’ footsteps and made a name for herself by carving her own path.

Riddhima is a professional fashion and jewellery designer and a fitness enthusiast. She is not just the heart and soul of the Kapoor khandaan, but the darling sister of Ranbir Kapoor. Her wedding in 2006 was a star-studded affair and was attended by the whose who from the glamour, politics and business world.

The wedding opened with Ranbir Kapoor bringing his sister, Ridhima and jiju, Bharat, to the venue, which was followed by Rishi Kapoor welcoming the guests to the ceremony.

From all the members of the Kapoor Khadaan to celebs like Rani Mukerji, Rekha, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Amir Khan, Kiran Rao, Anil Kapoor to many others gracing the event. A huge crowd of media was stationed outside the venue, who took bytes from the popular celebs attending the event. It was surely a star-studded event, attended by all the A-listers of Bollywood.

When Ranbir Kapoor was seen performing rituals at his sister, Riddhima’s wedding

Sometime back, a few unseen pictures from Riddhima and Bharat’s wedding surfaced online, in which many wedding rituals were seen. Ranbir Kapoor performed brotherly duties and was seen performing Laja Homa, wherein the brother of the bride puts Baja (puffed rice, a symbol of prosperity) in the couple’s hands.

Riddhima Kapoor met Bharat Sahni while studying in London. They got to know each other and dated for three years. When she came back to Mumbai, her father, Rishi Kapoor, asked Riddhima to give another year to her relationship to see whether she felt the same way about Bharat. As per a DNA report, Neetu Kapoor revealed that Bharat and Riddhima dated for another year after coming back to India and then decided to begin their forever journey.

Once, Riddhima shared an unseen picture from her chooda ceremony. In the picture, Riddhima was seen posing with Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. While Rishi Kapoor opted for a casual t-shirt and pants, Neetu Kapoor flaunted her brightest smile in a green-coloured suit, and they both looked happy holding their daughter. Riddhima looked stunning in her no-makeup look, donning a pretty light-orange coloured suit, and Ranbir looked handsome in a white kurta. Riddhima’s chooda was hidden with a white piece of clothing.
