Reem Shaikh Bruises Foot On 'Laughter Chefs 2' Sets, Shares Mirror Selfie Of Injured Leg

Popular TV actress, Reem Shaikh, has won the hearts of her fans with her bubbly on-screen personality and with her stellar roles on the small screen. Although it seems like the actress at the moment is in great pain as she recently injured her foot on the sets of Laughter Chefs 2. Well, this is not the first time that the actress got injured on the sets of the cooking reality show. Even in the past, on the sets, she had faced injury.

Reem, who is an ace contestant on Laughter Chefs Season 2, recently met with an injury on the sets of the show. A while back, the actress had taken to her Instagram Stories to post a mirror selfie where she had worn a black loose oversized top along with white shorts. She had tied her hair in a neat bun and had two crepe bandages, one covering her foot and the other covering her knee. She had given a candid update related to her shooting and revealed:

"Just normal thing after shooting for Laughter Chef.” 

Reem Shaikh got injured on the sets of Laughter Chefs even in 2024

Well, this is not the first time that the Tujhse Hai Raabta star suffered an injury on the sets of the cooking reality show. Even in 2024, when she was on the sets of the first season of Laughter Chefs, she suffered painful burn marks on her face when hot sugar splashed on her as she was cooking. The serious incident had left burn marks on Reem's face, and she immediately needed medical attention. The actress, a brave warrior, had even taken on her Instagram handle to show the injury marks on her face. She had shared a snap of her burns being healed and then shared a before picture of how it looked when she first got the injury. She captioned them as:

"I’ve healed..(white heart emoji). Nothing can break a woman who gets her strength from God. #allahkashukar.”

When Reem Shaikh became emotional after facing a burn injury on her face

Reem, earlier in a conversation on Sana Khan's podcast, had opened up about the horrific injury incident and became emotional. She shared that when the incident took place, she got scared as it was sugar that fell on her face, but it felt like glass shards. Someone had even thrown water on her so that the sugar would not stick. Reem recalled:

"But you shouldn’t throw water on a burnt area. My friends were like family—Jannat didn’t leave my side at all. I had so many thoughts, like ‘why me’… but everyone kept me going.” 

Despite the setbacks, Reem showed a lot of professionalism and resilience and continued entertaining her fans. The actress who is super active on social media started off her career as a child artist at the age of 6. She was seen in the TV show, Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi. She then gained fame through her roles in famous serials such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Diya Aur Baati Hum, and Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. Her role as 'Kalyani' in the serial, Tujhse Hai Raabta, has given her a lot of fame.
