Popular TV actress, Reem Shaikh, is known for her roles in serials such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Tujhse Hai Raabta, Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, to name a few. Currently, she has been hogging the limelight as a post on Reddit went viral where the actress was rumoured to be having an engagement in Jaipur with Krish Gupta. Now, Reem has reacted to her rumoured engagement buzz.

Reem Shaikh opens up on her impending engagement with Krish Gupta

TV actress, Reem won the hearts of all with her performance in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. A picture of the actress soon having an engagement with Krish surfaced, and the snap showed their alleged engagement ring. The actress, in an interview with India Forums, squashed the rumours and shared:

"After all, it is just gossip at the end of the day. I am not getting engaged."

When Reem Shaikh revealed that people thought her to be arrogant

Reem had recently sat for a conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit for his podcast and spoke about being raised in a troubled home. She shared that she has the scars for years and labelled herself as a Taare Zameen Par kid. Someone who looked arrogant to the entire world but had pain and anxiety within in childhood. She shared:

"For me, just speaking to anyone took so much courage. It’s been such a fight."

When Reem Shaikh spoke on her parent's separation

For Reem, the separation of her parents has been the deepest and most hurtful chapter of her life. She opened up on her wounds and revealed it was four years back when her parents opted for separation, and in overnight she had become an adult. She had kept the divorce of her parents private for the longest period of time. It took her a lot of courage to speak about the divorce of her parents. Amid the assumptions and whispers of her parent's separation, Reem shared:

"Yes, it’s true — my parents have gone their separate ways. I want everyone to stop speculating and stop spreading gossip about why I unfollowed whom and what it means. It’s been four years now. We have all moved forward, but the world seems stuck on it.

Reem further shared that when her parents separated, she got a lot of vision related to the dysfunctional family set up that she grew raised in. She even slammed trolls who shamed her mother for wearing clothes of the actress. Reem found it weird and shared that she and her mom had the same height and build, so it has been a natural tendency for them to swap their clothes. The actress revealed being upset with trolls, but she does not take it seriously, as she does not care about the judgmental people.

Reem Shaikh's work front

Workwise, Reem at the moment is seen in the cooking reality show, Laughter Chefs Season 2, where her partner is Aly Goni. Earlier, the actress had also revealed her marriage plans and shared that she wanted to settle and have kids before the age of 30.
