Did Kelley Leak Her Ex-Husband, Scott Wolf's Phone Number? What Led To Her Arrest Amid Custody Drama

Scott Wolf and his ex-wife, Kelley's divorce and custody drama refuses to end. The case took another dramatic turn after Kelley was arrested again in Utah on August 26, 2025. While the latter claimed she knew nothing about the cause of her arrest, urging fans to fight for her, everyone was left confused over the recent development. While details behind the charges were initially kept under wraps, shocking insights have now been unveiled in the case.  

Did Kelley Wolf leak her ex-husband, Scott Wolf's, phone number? 

According to a new report from US Weekly, law enforcement documents revealed that Scott Wolf, 57, called the police after he received what he described as some harassing messages from his ex-wife, Kelley. While officers were present at the actor's home, he got dozens of calls and texts from unknown numbers. Later, he got to know that Kelley had leaked his personal phone number on Instagram, disguised in a post where she referred to him as 'dimples.'

The affidavit noted that the number which leaked was the same number Scott used to communicate with his children. As a result, the sudden flood of calls and texts caused him a lot of trouble. Within 10 minutes, the actor got more than 20 calls with countless texts. Police reported it as a clear harassment case and confirmed that Kelley refused to answer their questions when approached at a nearby residence. Police also shared that Kelley's family expressed concern about her mental health. They requested that Kelley be held until a judge and a mental health professional saw her.

What might happen in Kelley and Scott Wolf's emergency custody hearing? 

Kelley's arrest took place just a few days before an emergency custody hearing is scheduled for August 28, 2025. It comes after Scott requested protective orders for their three kids. Although the exact order from the court remains uncertain, legal experts gave diverse options in the situation. The court might impose more strict protective orders against Kelley, especially if her behaviour is seen as a threat to her kids. In extreme cases, the court could further restrict her parental rights, which currently allow only supervised visitation and limited contact via video calls.

The latest arrest is a part of a larger, messy divorce battle that began between Kelley and Scott Wolf in June 2025. He got the temporary sole physical custody of their three children, Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 10, after he alleged that Kelley's behaviour posed an 'immediate and irreparable' threat. Court records included past violations by Kelley, including attempts to break visitation rules and even one incident where she allegedly waved a knife in the air. At the same time, she has consistently shared screenshots of her private chats and inside updates from the case on social media.

Meanwhile, Kelley's bond has been set at USD 5,000, and after her release, she will not be allowed to post on social media, contact witnesses, or consume drugs or alcohol.
