For the unversed, Yash Raj Films is a film production and distribution company which was founded by Indian director and producer, Yash Raj Chopra and his wife, Payal Khanna. However, it was Yash Raj Chopra's son, Aditya Chopra, who took the role of the vice-chairman of YRF back in 2010. Only one year after Aditya became the vice-chairman, YRF produced three iconic and mainstream films, which were the most expensive productions of the company: Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger. However, all three films did extremely well at the box office and broke all the records. It was back in 2012 when Aditya Chopra was elevated to the position of chairman and Chief Executive of YRF's studio wing.

Aditya Chopra got married to the love of his life and Bollywood actress, Rani Mukerji back in 2014. It was one year after their marital bliss when Aditya and Rani welcomed their daughter, Adira, into their lives. Although, Rani Mukerji is an actress, she likes to keep her personal life hush-hush. Not only Rani but her hubby, Aditya, too, is extremely private about his personal life, and they prefer to keep their lives under wraps. It was on Rani Mukerji's arrival on Koffee With Karan 8 when Karan Johar recalled the time he got a call from Aditya, who asked the filmmaker not to leak any information about his wedding with Rani, which was in Italy and was done under no picture-policy.
