On October 23, 2025, Ram and Upasana shared a collaborative post announcing their second pregnancy, posting glimpses from their intimate baby shower held in their Hyderabad home on the auspicious day of Diwali.

Ram Charan’s team reveals whether the couple is expecting twins

As soon as the buzz about Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela expecting twins started making rounds, Ram’s team confirmed the news. A report in Hindustan Times claimed that Upasana didn’t reveal much about her pregnancy. Ram’s team confirmed the news and said:

“With twins on their way, the couple is elated to welcome two new members to their family.”

When Upasana Konidela revealed conceiving her daughter, Klin Kaara, naturally

Ram Charan married Upasana Konidela in June 2012. The power couple was blessed with a daughter, whom they named Klin Kaara after ten years of their marriage in 2023. In an interview with Masoom Minawala, Upasana talked about conceiving Kaara naturally despite freezing her eggs. In her words:

“So, the egg freezing procedure — my family encouraged me to go ahead and do it. And I was very happy that they pushed me towards it. But I had Kaara naturally. It's always wonderful to have that safety net."

Upasana Konidela heaped praises on Ram Charan for being a hands-on father

In the same conversation, Upasana revealed that her husband, Ram Charan, is a big source of support for her as he takes care of their daughter, Klin Kaara, when she goes to work. The entrepreneur mentioned that he is a responsible dad and stated:

"He's a hands-on dad and takes equal responsibility — sometimes even more — when I'm travelling. For example, when I was at Harvard, Kaara was with him the entire time. He made sure to take her everywhere, ensured she ate well — and by the way, he's an ace dad when it comes to getting her to eat."
