Rachel Tussey's Doctor, Opens Up About Influencer's Death After 'Tummy-Tuck' Surgery, 'I Will Not..'

Social media influencer, Rachel Tussey, recently passed away after her cosmetic surgery went wrong. For the unversed, moments after the surgery went wrong, the content creator's condition worsened, which affected her brain. Eventually, she passed away due to brain damage. Well, ever since her death, multiple questions have been raised on the doctor who treated her. Now, the doctor shared his side of the story.

Rachel Tussey’s doctor reveals her condition after the surgery

Recently, during a conversation with TMZ, Rachel Tussey’s Dr. Tork opened up about the influencer’s condition after the cosmetic surgery. He explained that he has no idea why Rachel’s condition worsened even though the surgery was successful. In his first statement, he revealed that he is heartbroken by Rachel’s death. He was quoted as saying:

"I am heartbroken for Rachel Tussey and her family. My thoughts remain with her loved ones during this devastating time. Like them, I am struggling to understand how this could have occurred."

Further, he shared details about the final moments of the social media content creator. Dr. Tork stated that after the surgery, Rachel was in the hospital so that they could monitor her. He stated that when he last saw her, the influencer was in good condition and her husband was beside her. However, it is worth mentioning that Dr. Tork did not reveal much as he respected the privacy of Rachel’s family. In his words:

"Rachel’s surgery was completed successfully and without complications. When I last saw her in the recovery room as she prepared for her planned overnight stay, she was awake and in excellent condition with her husband by her side. Out of respect for Rachel and her family, and due to patient privacy laws, I will not comment further."

Has Rachel Tussey’s family demanded a proper investigation?

A recent report by TMZ also shared that Rachel Tussey’s family retained a lawyer to do a proper investigation behind the cosmetic surgery that ultimately took the influencer's life. During a conversation with TMZ, the lawyer had shared that the family is seeking a thorough investigation to know the truth behind the tragedy. Towards the end, the lawyer requested privacy amid the difficult time. A part of the lawyer’s statement was:

"On February 25th, Rachel Tussey suffered a permanent anoxic brain injury, from which she will never recover, after undergoing a surgical procedure at a private surgical center in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been retained to represent the Tussey family and to conduct a full and thorough investigation surrounding the facts and circumstances of this tragedy."

After Rachel’s tragic death due to brain damage, it was Jeremy, who broke the sad news to her fans. A part of his note said, "We are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and generous support shown to our family during this incredibly difficult time. Last night, my wife Rachel lost her battle while in hospice care."
