Now, on June 26, 2025, the Anjaana Anjaani actress finally broke her silence regarding the buzz surrounding a fake quote attributed to her. For the unversed, there has been a sensational quote that stated men shouldn’t look for virgin wives but rather choose women with good manners for marriage. The quote is being attributed to Priyanka, and many online sources claim that the quote was said by the Dostana actress. The quote can be read as:

"Don't Look for a Virgin as Wife. Get a Woman With Good Manners. Virginity Ends in One Night, But Manners Last Forever."

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Priyanka Chopra shared a post that associated her with the fake quote and penned a short yet bold note, slamming the media for not verifying the credibility of the news. The actress wrote that nowadays, it has become so easy to use fake news to make it viral. She also addressed the buzz and stated that the viral quote was not said by her, despite many online sources associating her name with the sensational quote. Sharing her disgrace, Priyanka wrote:

"This is not me, my quote or my voice. Just because it's online doesn't make it true. Creating fake content is now an easy way to achieve virality. None of the links or 'sources' attached to this claim, or many others online, are real or credible. Take a minute to cross-check such content and don't believe everything you scroll past. Stay safe online."
