Preity Zinta is hailed as the dimpled beauty of Bollywood, who won millions of hearts with her debut film, Dil Se. Preity Zinta not only managed to charm her fans, but ace filmmaker Kamal Amrohi’s son, Shandar Amrohi, too was impressed by Preity and considered her as a daughter. In 2011, the ace filmmaker, Shandar Amrohi announced that after his death, his wealth of Rs. 600 crores will be transferred to Preity Zinta, bypassing his own kids.
Amrohi first met Preity at the Marriot Hotel, while she was dating Nes Wadia. When Amrohi had a tiff with his siblings, Preity came in for his support. Her act moved Amrohi, who started sending her gifts. He considered Preity as a family member and announced that his fortune would be surpassed by her after his death.

However, Preity refused Amrohi’s wish and clearly stated that she did not wish to have a single penny from his will. Interestingly, Preity filed a case against Shandar Amrohi’s sons after his death. In her complaint, she stated that a loan of Rs. 2 crores was given to Amrohi during his treatment, which should be returned to her.
Preity Zinta has always remained true to herself. When Preity worked in the film, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, along with Salman Khan and Rani Mukerji, producer Bharat Shah was arrested for allegedly helping gangster Chhota Shakeel invests in this film. While many big wigs of Bollywood stayed mum and maintained a distance from the case, Preity turned a key witness and revealed that she received calls from his gang for extortion. For her brave attempt, Preity received the Godfrey Philips National Bravery Award.
Preity Zinta was the leading actress of Bollywood in the early 2000s. In 2011, she launched her production company, PZNZ Media. However, despite all the success, the actress left Bollywood at the age of 32 to focus on her business ventures, including her IPL (Indian Premier League) cricket team.
In 2016, Preity tied the knot with Gene Goodenough in a private ceremony in LA. The ceremony was attended only by their family and close friends. In 2021, Preity Zinta announced the biggest good news of her life. The actress announced the news of being blessed with twins, a son named Jai and a daughter named Gia, via surrogacy.
