Pawan met Anna in 2011 while shooting for the film, Teen Maar. The actor was already going through a challenging period in his life at that time due to his divorce from his former wife, Renu Desai. It was love at first sight for Pawan, who dated Anna for two years.

The duo got married on September 30, 2013. Together, they welcomed their first child, Mark Shankar Pawanovich. For the unversed, before marrying Pawan, Anna had an unsuccessful marriage and was already a mother to a daughter, Polena Anjana Pawanova.

After the birth of Pawan Kalyan and Renu Desai's son, the former divorced his first wife, Nandini, in the year 2008. According to multiple reports, the Telugu superstar gave a substantial sum of Rs. 5 crores in 2008 to his first wife, Nandini, as a divorce settlement. 

Soon after his divorce from Nandini, Pawan got married to Renu in 2009, and the couple welcomed their second child, Aadya. Soon after Aadya’s birth, Pawan and Renu had irreconcilable differences, and they parted ways with a divorce in 2012.

In July 2023, reports circulated that Pawan Kalyan and Anna Lezheneva had separated after 10 years of marriage. Multiple news portals reported that Anna was living abroad with their kids while Pawan was living in India without his wife and children. 

The speculations began during Telugu actor, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s engagement ceremony, and Anna Lezhneva's absence was noticed. Additionally, she was not present during the cradle ceremony for Klin Kaara Konidela, the daughter of Ram Charan and Upasana, which ignited the rumours of Anna and Pawan’s separation.

However, after a few days, Anna and Pawan were spotted performing puja as Pawan completed the first stage of his political rally, the Varahi Yatra. Since then, everything has been going perfectly fine in their paradise.
