Shefali Jariwala's death left a huge shock to her fans, followers, family and friends. However, it was the immediate family who were left heartbroken, including her husband, Parag Tyagi, and their pet dog, as the trio had stayed together. However, Shefali's tragic death left a void in Parag's heart. On top of it, the media's insensitive reporting about him walking the dog right after Shefali's death left an impact on him as well as people close to him. Paras Chhabra openly slammed the media for their unethical reporting. Now, he revealed the reason behind Parag's action.
In an interaction with IANS, Paras Chhabra, who is a close family friend of Parag and his late wife, Shefali, revealed the reason why Parag took his dog for a walk. He added that the couple was extremely close to their pet, and he was a family member to them. Paras stated how one of the three members had gone all of a sudden. Reflecting on Parag's mental state, Paras said:
"Shefali and Parag were very close to their pet. He was a family member to them. Three members were living together in a house, and one of them is suddenly gone. In such a situation, you should understand Parag’s mental state. He would want to keep him even closer and very close to his heart. There is a sense of fear and longing at the same time. People might think it’s strange, but since I know them closely, I understood his psychology. Moreover, their pet has grown old and cannot see properly. So, Parag’s responsibility towards him increases even more."
Paras further added that dogs are extremely sensitive and know when energy changes in a room. The pet knew that Shefali was no more, and he was extremely sad and affected by her passing. Paras said:
"Dogs are very sensitive—they can feel when something is wrong. The pet also knew that Shefali was no more. He was visibly sad and affected by her passing.”
On the day of Shefali Jariwala's death, her friend, Paras, slammed the media after their insensitive coverage of Parag Tyagi, who was seen taking their pet dog out on a walk. Paras, who was consoling Sambhavna Seth, went on to lash out at paps for their insensitive behaviour. He said:
"Yeh subhe waali news bohut hi bekar news hai. Yeh jo kutto-wali news hai, ki kutte ko leke ghuma raha hain subha subha. Kya kare phir banda? Bohut hi bekar news karte ho aap log. Aur bolna kya hai?"
Shefali was just 42 years old when she succumbed to death after a cardiac arrest. It was sudden with no goodbyes or last conversation. Recently, Parag took to his Instagram handle and shared a video featuring several photos of himself. For the unversed, the duo got married in 2014. Along with it, Parag made a vow always to find Shefali whenever she is born in every lifetime. It is a big promise. His emotional note can be read as:
