Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives aired on Netflix on October 18, 2024, and it features Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Bhavana Panday, and Seema Sajdeh, along with three new faces, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shalini Passi, and Kalyani Saha. While the show is grabbing a whole lot of attention by showcasing glimpses of the lives of high-society women, recently another fact raised eyebrows, and it had a connection to Orry, aka, Orhan Awatramani.
Recently, a Reddit user posted a screengrab of Orhan Awatramani aka, Orry's IG story, wherein he called out the makers of Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives for copying his content and not giving him the due credit. Orry posted a video from the show and mentioned that it was a 'cheap copy of his reel'. Orry further added how it is disheartening that the content creators work really hard to bring out the best of the ideas, which takes them months to do the same, while their ideas get copied and people even don't give credit to the original creator for plagiarising their content. Calling it shame, Orry mentioned it to be 'unethical'.
While the motive behind this post can't be verified as of now, Orry deleted the post within just a while and posted a rather praising post for the recently released show, Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives. And such an incident left the netizens confused. While some users stated that it could have been a promotional tactic, others pointed out how Orry once accepted to commit a scandal to grab the attention.
One user penned, "There is no way this Orry has that much guts to ACTUALLY call anyone out. This has Dharma’s PR all over it." Another user wrote, "He said it on the show himself to create a scandal to get attention." A third user commented, "He deleted and immediately posted another non-problematic promo video."

For the unversed, Orry recently made his acting debut and shot for an ad film for a digital Croc brand. Talking about the same, the internet sensation added that it's been a long journey, from creating reels to shooting for an ad. Well, he seemingly took a dig at Karan Johar and his nepotism debate. Orry stated that although he was not launched by Karan Johar, which most people want, he is being launched with the filmmaker, and thus, he is a bit anxious. He also added that he couldn't mess this up, and he's a fellow junior actor on his first project to Karan, and by this, he wanted to talk about his achievements.
What do you think about Orry calling out the show and deleting the post instantly only to give them a shout-out?
