Veteran Bollywood actress, Rekha has been known for her charm and her kind nature. However, Rekha has been hogging the limelight lately, and that also for all the wrong reasons. Videos of the actress pushing a fan away at the airport who wanted to take a picture with her have gone viral. Rekha's fans have been upset with her gesture and have labelled the actress as 'Jaya Bachchan 2.0'.

Rekha's cold behaviour towards the fan who asked for a selfie was not well received by her fans. One user penned, “I feel bad for the woman… what was so difficult about spending a few seconds for someone who considers you their fan?" Another user wrote that Jaya Bachchan and Rekha had no difference in their behaviour and penned, "Then what’s the difference between Jaya and Rekha?” Netizens found Rekha's behaviour to be 'very unkind' and fans noted of the actress treating the fan badly.

A user even wrote, "Only because she is insecure about her looks, this is very sad. She freaks out every time someone holds a camera in front of her. They are only nice when fully decked up from head to toe. Disappointing from Rekha." There were others who wrote, "Yeh Sindoor kiske naam ka lagati Hai?" While one wrote, "Jaya Bachchan 2.0."

A video has gone viral showing Rekha exiting the airport with her manager. She had worn a black tracks, jacket with a white top. She had tied a high bun, wore sunglasses, and put her iconic sindoor. The actress was compared to Jaya Bachchan by netizens as she has a cold relationship with the paps and is known for fighting with them. As seen in the video, a lady wearing a pink-hued salwaar kameez came towards Rekha for a selfie, and the actress pushed her away.

Rekha was later seen moving towards her car and waving at the paps. Netizens seemed to compare Rekha's behaviour to that of Jaya Bachchan, as she had called out paps recently and labelled them as 'unprofessional'. She also stated that she did not like them in particular. Rekha's clip went viral on social media instantly, and her fans were not at all happy with the way she behaved with the fan.

Rekha for the function was seen in a golden, ivory-hued silk saree, which she teamed with classic jewellery. She had donned a classic pearl golden brooch and exuded grace that captivated all. Muzaffar Ali, the director of Umrao Jaan, was also seen at the screening. In an interview with the Gulf News, Rekha spoke about what Umrao Jaan taught her related to life, love, and vulnerability. She shared:

"I am not much of a talker… With Umrao, the dialogues said barely half of what my eyes could feel… My mother used to say, you don’t speak about your achievements or feelings. You don’t teach by preaching. You live by example.”
