Now, an old statement of his brother, Nandu Gujjar, has gone viral on social media, who claimed that Mridul was targeted in Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. For the unversed, Bigg Boss 19 recently also saw the eviction of contestants, Abhishek Bajaj and Neelam Giri.

Now, Mridul's brother, Nandu, according to a Filmibeat report, shared how his brother was targeted during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. He said:

"Weekend Ke Vaar par target kyu hoh raha hai. Har Weekend ke vaar par Mridul ko demotivate aur ek narrative set kia ja raha hai. Mridul luch keh nai raha, game acha nai kar raha, kuch behtar joh chahte hai woh nai kar raha. Mere hisab se ek real personality Mridul ke alava uss game mei koi bhi nai hai."

Mridul's brother, Nandu, did not spare contestants like Tanya Mittal, Farrhana Bhatt, and Amaal Mallik in the Bigg Boss 19 house. He revealed how Salman demotivated Mridul and said that the show won't be known due to him, and alleged that a narrative was set against his brother. He also said that Salman was doing what he was told to do, and in the words of Nandu:

"Jaise ki Salman bhai ne boli hai aapke naam se show nai jana jaega. Mujhe nai pata kiske naam se jana jaega. Farrhana ke naam se joh zuban kholti hai gandha bolti hai ya Amaal ke naam se joh galiyan de deta hai aur maa baap tak pahuch jata hai. Ya Tanya ke naam se joh jhoot bolti hai etne."

Nandu's reaction reportedly went viral, and netizens in the comments section were manifesting Mridul to win the show. Nandu had raised important questions on why his brother was the subject of target for all in the show, and his fans also felt that the Bigg Boss 19 makers were being biased. A secret ballot was held after the contestants campaigned, with Gaurav Khanna and Shehbaz Badesha receiving the most votes. They became the captaincy contenders, and Mridul got the lowest votes and had to walk out of the show.
