According to a report by People, a temporary restraining order has been filed in Jessi Draper and Jordan Ngatikaura's pending divorce. As per the court documents obtained from the same outlet, one party filed for a restraining order on March 20, 2026. It is worth mentioning that the order was opposed that same day. However, it is still unclear which party filed the restraining order. Neither Jordan Ngatikaura nor The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives fame, Jessi Draper, has made any comment on the following.

According to a report by People, Jessi Draper’s husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for divorce from her on March 19, 2026, after five years of marriage. For the uninitiated, Jessi and Jordan tied the knot on October 8, 2020. Following the news that he filed for divorce, Jordan issued an official statement and said that the decision to part ways was not an easy one. He expressed his gratitude for the shared memories. He mentioned that now that they embark on different paths, their priority remains their children. Jordan’s statement can be read as:
"This has not been an easy decision, and it comes with a heavy heart. I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition. I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect."

While Jordan Ngatikaura's filing for divorce from Jessi Draper made headlines, it is worth noting that the former wanted his marriage with Jessi to work. During one of the emotional conversations in the show, The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives Season 4, Jason shared his wish to stick together and give their relationship a second chance. The couple took therapy to work through the challenges in their marriage. Speaking about the same, Jordan shared that it helped him understand how some of his past behaviour impacted their married life.

In a recent interview with People, Jessi opened up about therapy. The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives star shared that she and her husband have been doing it since 2025. She highlighted that the therapy taught them a lot, and it’s still a work in progress. She added that it’s quite normal to struggle in marriage. She was quoted as saying:

"We've been doing that for about a year now since the separation happened, and it's helped a lot. It's taught us both a lot about how we are as individuals and how we are in a relationship, and it's just kind of still a work in progress. I just wanted to share that because I know marriage is hard, relationships are hard, and it's normal to struggle. Even in a good relationship, you're gonna have ups and downs. So I just think it's good to show people that it's worth fighting for, it's worth working through and it's something that's always a work in progress."
