Mohammed Shami's Big Gesture For Wife Amid Years Of Separation, Named A Prized Possession After Her

India's legendary fast-bowler, Mohammed Shami has made headlines for his professional as well as personal life. The cricketer is a popular name in the world of sports and is known for his humble beginnings, growing up in a village in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. However, Shami also saw a period of intense scrutiny and downfall as a result of many serious charges levied on the bowler by his ex-wife, Hasin Jahan. From match-fixing to domestic abuse, the cricketer was accused of many serious charges. The couple has also been separated, ever since his ex-wife put these allegations against him. But Mohammed Shami made a shocking big gesture for his estranged wife, Hasin, which has got the town talking about a potential reconciliation between the couple. 

Mohammed Shami named his massive farmhouse as 'Hasin' 

A few years back, Mohammed Shami became the owner of a massive farmhouse in Amroha, which reportedly spans 150 bighas of land. This was a proud moment for the fast bowler since he was born and brought up in the same village in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. However, reports are now floating around that the fast bowler has named this prized farmhouse of his as 'Hasin'. Though Shami has yet to confirm anything, people believe that he has named his luxurious home after his wife, Hasin Jahan, as reported by India.com. 

Inside the 'Hasin' home of Mohammed Shami 

Mohammed Shami hails from a family of farmers who loved cricket. He made a name for himself in the same sports and became capable enough to buy land at his birthplace, Amroha, in 2015. Now, a huge farmhouse stands on this land, which is reported to have cost around Rs. 15 crores. His new house has everything, from a huge mango orchard to a large swimming pool. The cricketer is said to enjoy both these places to rest and be at peace. He has also built a cricket pitch to practice the game in his home. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Suresh Raina had come to practice at Shami's farmhouse amid the lockdown. 

More about Mohammed Shami and Hasin Jahan 

Mohammed Shami had met and fell in love with Hasin Jahan, who was a cheerleader for the Kolkata Knight Riders team, around 2012. The couple tied the knot in 2014 and, after a year, welcomed their baby girl, Aaira. However, in 2018 Hasin levied a series of charges on Shami and accused him of domestic abuse, infidelity, attempt to murder, criminal intimidation, and match-fixing. Though the cricketer was given a clean chit on the last allegation by BCCI, the other issues remain unsolved between the separated couple. 

Mohammed Shami has denied all the accusations made against him by his ex-wife, Hasin Jahan. During this tumultuous time in his life, the bowler had contemplated suicide, revealed one of his close friends in a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra. He was dealing with injuries from the game as well as the abuse allegations; however, his friend revealed that the last straw for Shami was the match-fixing accusation and 'betraying his country'. On the same night, when he reportedly wanted to take this drastic step, BCCI cleared Mohammed Shami of the match-fixing charges.
