The paparazzi culture has blurred the line between fans and stars, but it has also raised concerns for celebrities, as they often face trolling, especially female actresses. From being judged for their looks, outfit choices, or the way they laugh, people find a way to troll them. Amid the pap culture, photographers have a lot of duty on their shoulders to know when they should record a celebrity and when to avoid. Recently, a photographer zoomed in on Kajol's bulging tummy, and Mini Mathur came to her rescue.
Recently, Kajol attended an event, and a video of the same was posted online on a photographer's account. The actress was dressed up in a black-hued body-hugging gown with metallic detailing on the neckline. The actress kept her makeup soft, and her hair was styled in waves. However, the video, instead of showing Kajol's look or the event, zoomed in on her tummy.
After which, several netizens started body-shaming Kajol and questioned her dress. However, it was Mini Mathur who came to her rescue and slammed the photographer. Amid these insensitive trolls, Mini Mathur questioned how dare the photographer try to zoom in on her body. Reacting to the body-shaming comments, Mini wrote:
"How dare you zoom in on her body???? She doesn’t owe you guys eternal youth. You don’t get to decide how she should look."
Netizens also reacted to Kajol's video. One user wrote, "Is Kaajol pregnant..? Congrats to Ajay and family." A second one penned, "Oh my gosh can she not see herself?" A third one commented, "She looks amazing but dress is too tight and she can not walk in those shoes .. get rid of the stylist." Another netizen wrote, "She is 50 years old and healthy active woman with 2 kids. Unfortunately her choice might not be best suited for her looks but if you look past her stomach she looks gorgeous because men’s belly are never an issue even though their body doesn’t undergo any changes …but women have different standards women Vs men."
Kajol has a pipeline of projects and seems like she never seems to rest. In her diverse linkeup, she has films raging from horror, action, drama to mystery. However, it is the first time, Kajol took the horror route with Maa. She is also going to be seen in Charan Tej Uppalapati's action packed film, Maharagni — Queen of Queens. The movie marks her reunion with Prabhu Deva after 27 years. She was last seen in the Netflix's Do Patti, and fans loved her role as a police officer.

Earlier, at News18’s Rising Bharat Summit 2025, Kajol talked about her filmography and how she is one of the least working actresses. She stated that she likes to be lazy and believes in slow living as she wants to enjoy her life. She was quoted as saying:
"I am the least worked actor in the whole film industry. Puri film industry mein jo log recently aaye hai unn logon ne zyada kaam kiya hoga. Mujhse zayada. I think my filmography is all about 50-55 films that’s it. I choose to be lazy. I choose to have a slower life. I choose to enjoy my life as along with working. I think working should be part of my life not apart of my life. And every which way I have found a balance to life. I like my coffee, slow morning. I love my life."
What do you think about Mini Mathur slamming a photographer for zooming in on Kajol's body?
