Reality TV personality, Shiv Thakare is currently grabbing all the attention for winning the much-loved reality show, The 50. The reality show premiered on February 1, 2026. For those who do not know, Shiv was recently announced the winner of the show and one of his lucky fans would win a huge amount of Rs. 50 lakhs.

Amid that, the attention has shifted towards his personal and dating life. It is worth mentioning that over the years, Shiv Thakare has kept his personal life private, however, do you know that the Roadies fame was once in a relationship with Marathi actress, Veena Jagtap? Yes, that's right. For those who do not know, the duo met during Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2.

Who is Shiv Thakare’s ex-girlfriend, Veena Jagtap?

Veena Jagtap is a popular Indian actress, who has primarily worked in the Marathi cinema. According to a report by Starsunfolded, Veena was born in 1994, in Maharashtra. After completing her schooling from Guru Nanak High School, the actress reportedly pursued a degree in Banking and Insurance. If reports are to be believed, she has appeared in Radha Prem Rangi Rangli and What's Up Lagna.

Veena Jagtap participated in Bigg Boss Marathi season 2

Despite doing multiple projects, the actress rose to fame when she appeared on the reality show, Bigg Boss Marathi season 2. Throughout her journey, she was highly appreciated for her calm and friendly nature. One of the major highlights of her journey was Veena’s friendship with Shiv Thakare. For those who do not know, Shiv and Veena met on the reality show and soon became good friends. 

Slowly and gradually, their friendship blossomed into romance. Their friendship and chemistry on the show was loved by the entire nation. Fans lovingly called them ‘Shiveena’. It is worth noting that throughout Bigg Boss Marathi 2, Shiv and Veena supported each other. The duo even stayed together after the show ended; however, after a few years they parted ways, leaving their fans heartbroken. If reports are to be believed, Shiv and Veena dated each other for nearly three years.

When Shiv Thakare opened up about his relationship with Veena Jagtap

Years later, when Shiv Thakare participated in Bigg Boss 16, he opened up about his relationship with Marathi actress, Veena Jagtap. During one of the episodes of the reality show, Shiv was seen having a conversation with Sajid Khan and Tina Dutt, during which he mentioned that he broke up with Veena seven months ago but they have still not moved on. He was quoted as saying:

"Humara breakup hua tha 7 mahine pehle, par hum move on nahi hue. woh kaam mein busy hogayi par move on nahi hue... Maine apne aap ko promise kiya tha joh kuch pehle reality show mein hua woh aage nahi hoga. Hum dono ne pura ghar hearts se bhar diya tha."

Further, Shiv Thakare revealed that the entire Maharashtra knew them because of their cutesy moments that happened in Bigg Boss Marathi season 2. For the unversed, during one of the tasks, he got Veena’s name tattooed on him. Explaining the reason behind his and Veena’s breakup, he shared that the real world is very different from the Bigg Boss house and sustaining a relationship in that practical world is difficult. In his words:

"Pura Maharashtra mein mera naam lenge toh uska naam pata hai, uska naam lenge toh mera pata hai. Itne romantic cheezein ki thi humne us ghar mein. Main bodybuilder hoon mujhe mere body par tattoos pasand nahi par maine task ke beech mein uska naam tattoo karwaya tha.Yahan cheezein na bahar ki tarah practical nahi ho sakti especially kaam ko lekar."

Shiv Thakare won The 50

The reality show, The 50 came to an end on March 22, 2026, and Roadies Rising fame, Shiv Thakare emerged as the winner after defeating strong players like Rajat Dalal, Mr. Faisu and Immortal Kaka. According to the format of the show, one of Shiv’s lucky fans would win Rs. 50 lakhs. It is worth noting that in one of the latest episodes of The 50, reality TV star, Prince Narula had sacrificed his Ticket To Finale for the Shiv.
