The 70-year-old had been a fixture at 93.3 WMMR for 44 years, having joined the radio station in 1981. His sudden passing left his listeners and colleagues heartbroken. Pierre Robert died under mysterious circumstances, which are subject to investigation. The Philadelphia radio host failed to show up for his midday radio shift on October 29, 2025. Following that, his colleagues requested a welfare check. The police then arrived at his home and found him dead. Pierre's cause of death has not been publicly released; however, the police revealed that no foul play is suspected as of yet. In a 2011 interview with Philadelphia Magazine, Pierre Robert stated that he named his boat 'Lucy' after his furry friend. He began taking her to work when she started having orthopedic issues around 2010. Lucy had chiropractic, acupuncture, and water-therapy treatments for a few years due to her ailment. Around the second week of February 2012, Lucy fell very ill, as Pierre revealed during his conversation with The Inquirer. She passed away on February 17, 2012, at the age of 13 and a half, after suffering from multiple organ failure.
