Paris Jackson, the only daughter of the late pop icon Michael Jackson, has recently announced the end of her engagement with music producer, Justin Long. The 26-year-old singer and actress confirmed the news after some pictures of her crying near the road went viral. Needless to say, the separation has stunned fans and brough Justin Long into spotlight. Here's what you must know about him.
Justin Long is a talented music producer, songwriter, engineer, and audio mixer who transitioned into the music industry after earning a degree in marketing and business administration. He had pursued his education from the Grace College and Seminary in Indiana. Though he started entering in music scene back in 2005, he didn't pursue it full-time until 2013. It was in that year when he joined Barefoot Recording in Los Angeles, a decision that help him establish his music career.
Over the years, Justin worked with leading labels like Warner Bros., Capitol, and Island Records. His roster includes big names such as 5 Seconds of Summer, Nickel Creek, HOLYCHILD, The Wombats, Grace Potter, and Sleater-Kinney. His expertise in both live sound and studio production helped him build a name in the industry. At the same time, it eventually brought him close to Paris making them a super couple in Hollywood.
Justin Long first met Paris for professional reasons, and they began a professional bond in 2022, when Justin started collaborating with Jackson on her live performances. He even mixed sound for her set at the Bottlerock Music Festival in Napa Valley and helped record her vocals on the track, Blue Moon. However, quietly behind the scenes, romance brewed between them. Later, Paris confirmed their engagement in a social media post as she shared dreamy pictures of Justin going down on one knee to pop the question.
After announcing their engagement, Paris shared to Access Hollywood about her bridal dress was made and venue was chosen after an astrologer decided their marriage date in June 2025. She wore her ring at the Tribeca Festival in the same month. However, later, the Daily Mail published some pictures of Paris Jackson crying in public and soon after, she announced the end of the engagement in July 2025. Confirming the same she addressed her crying pictures in a new post on X and wrote:
