Who is Mohak Mangal’s wife, Shaneez Mohinani?

Shaneez is a Sindhi girl, who was born in Surabaya, Indonesia and grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. She completed her graduation in Bachelor of Business in Business Management, Finance from Singapore Management University. In 2023, Shaneez completed her MBA from Standford University Graduate School of Business in California.

Shaneez’s father dropped out of primary school at the tender age of 11 to support his family, and her mother dropped out of high school due to financial issues. Shaneez is the first-generation college kid in her family. Shaneez founded a podcast show titled Down to Zero on Spotify, where she talks to climate entrepreneurs, investors and experts in Silicon Valley and beyond. She has been a climate fund principal of Clocktower Ventures, which falls under the Clock Tower Group, and is now a part-time employee. Shenaaz is currently working at GridCARE, an AI data centre.

Shaneez Mohinani tied the knot with Mohak Mangal in 2019

Shaneez got married to Mohak in 2019 after 8 years of relationship. Back in 2011, the couple started dating, when Mohak was 19 years old and was in his second year of college. As per a report by Wedding Sutra, in their relationship, the duo maintained a long-distance relationship for 5 years. Recalling her initial relationship days, Shaneez told Wedding Sutra:

“I always found Mohak really cute and had no idea that he felt the same way about me till a mutual friend intervened. We both then started texting, but in my mind, I’d friend-zoned him. But as we grew closer, I was swept away by his caring, thoughtful nature and charming smile. Within a month of dating, Mohak told me that he wanted to marry me.”

Their wedding took place in Jaipur, Rajasthan. For their big day, both of them wore Sabyasachi outfits. Shaneez donned a red lehenga, while Mohak wore an ivory sherwani with a matching stole and Rajputana turban. 

Mohak Mangal proposed to Shaneez Mohinani for marriage

Mohak planned to propose to his lady love and assured it to be no less than a filmy one. According to a report by Wedding Sutra, when the duo was in Pokhara, Nepal, with their friends, the couple was having fun. The next morning Mohak took Shaneez to watch the sunrise and proposed to her for marriage. Sharing the dreamy moment, Sheenaz said:

“We were in Pokhara, Nepal with a group of friends and one night we were all having drinks. Mohak, however, asked me to go easy on the drinks as he wanted me to catch the sunrise with him the next morning. He woke me up at 5 AM when it was literally freezing outside and took me to watch the sunrise. It was a magical moment with the first rays of the sun hitting the snow-capped peaks without a single soul around us. And then, Mohak went down on one knee with a ring in his hand…it just couldn’t have been more perfect!”

Although Shaneez Mohinani is Mohak Mangal's wife, she also has a world of her own where she reigns as a queen.
