Meet Janvee Gaurr, 'The Traitors' Contestant Who Is Being Accused Of Practicing 'Kaala Jaadu'

Karan Johar is back on the OTT platforms, with the Hindi adaptation of the American show, The Traitors. The show premiered on June 12, 2025, and promises a complicated series with dark drama and twists at every corner. While the drama in the house has been keeping the audience hooked, it seems like a contestant has left the viewers shocked by her activities outside the show as well.

The Traitors premiered on June 12, 2025 and since have had the audience hooked with its controversial storyline, raw visuals and some of the most well-known names in the country today. In just a week, the reality show has been making headlines for its shocking evictions and never-ending drama.

However, the revelations inside the house have led to some shocking findings outside the show, and among them were the stand-up comedian, Harsh Gujral's accustation against Janvee Gaurr. For the unversed, Harsh had accused Janvee Gaurr of engaging in ‘kaala jaadu’, which left the contestants and the audience absolutely shocked.

So, without any further ado, let's take a look at who Janvee Gaurr is. Janvee is a celebrity tarot card reader, Vedic astrologer and spiritual life coach who is well-kown for connecting with energies and unravelling destinies. The coach has a following of 64k on instagram and often shares information to inlluminate the path of her clients and her followers who seek spiritual insights.

Her expert guidance and classes are aimed at achieving success in personal and business endeavours. However, Harsh Gujral took a lighthearted jab at Janvee's line of career and remarked that she must be practising ‘kaala jaadu.’ Unfortunately, this accusation didn't sit well with Janvee and she distanced herself from the other contenders.

It wasn't long before her fellow contestants noted a shift in Janvee's behaviour and enquired about it, Janvee shared that Harsh's statement had a tremendous impact on her. This resulted in Janvee Gaurr being labelled as a traitor on the show, despite not being one. On the personal front, Janvee has a son, Abhishek Gaur who is an actor and musician by profession.

The Traitors became the audiences' guilty pleasure for its unique format and controversial storyline. The makers will drop new episodes every Thursday at 8 PM on Amazon Prime Video. The show was filmed at the luxurious and majestic Hotel Suryagarh in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer. Apart from having Karan Johar as the host, The Traitors boasts a star-studded lineup including Anshula Kapoor, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Norouzi, Janvee Gaurr, Jasmine Bhasin, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Apoorva Mukhija (The Rebel Kid), Purav Jha, Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey, Raftaar and Sufi Motiwala. Till now, four players have been eliminated from the show, these include Karan Kundrra, Sahil Salathia, Lakshmi Manchu, and Raj Kundra, who was one of the traitors.
