In a shocking turn of events, a 23-year-old model, Anjali Varmora, was found dead in her home in Surat, Gujarat. The tragic incident happened on June 7, 2025. The 23-year-old Anjali Varmora from Surat has been trying to make a name for herself in the glamour world. She had been working with various companies as a model and was most recently associated with Revenue Model Casting Agency for the past few months. The budding star, with 37.2K followers had been quite active on social media and loved posting every detail about her life.

Anjali Varmora was found hanging

Anjali lived at Kartik Apartment, in the Navsari Bazar area of Surat with her mother, brother and sister. She lost her father and used to post pictures with him along with heartfelt notes. On the wee hours of June 7, 2025, Anjali reportedly locked herself in her room and hanged herself using a dupatta tied to a ceiling fan.

Her family members had gone out for a late-night outing. After several knocks and calls, when she did not answer, her family members were concerned and broke open the door to find her hanging. They immediately informed the police, and the investigation began.

Anjali Varmora had been depressed

However, the investigation is still ongoing, and it is suspected that Anjali may have been under emotional distress or mental pressure, which led her to take such a drastic step. However, the exact cause is still not clear. When the authorities reached out to her family and close contacts, they got to know that the model was depressed. As per the official:

“We spoke to the family, and they denied any recent arguments or disturbances. They mentioned that Anjali had been under depression for some time.”

Anjali Varmora’s marriage was postponed

As per multiple reports, Anjali Varmora was engaged to a man from Surat two years ago, and the couple was all set to get married in 2025. However, the marriage was postponed as the boy’s mother passed away recently. The sources say that the postponed wedding also added to her misery.

Anjali Varmora’s last social media post hints at emotional distress

After Anjali’s untimely demise, her social media profile came into the limelight, and her last posts caught the attention. As per her last posts, it is believed that Anjali has been experiencing some emotional distress. One of her posts can be read as:

“Today, I realised I am nothing for you."

Another post by Anjali showed that she was grief-stricken and was calling for help. The young starlet, before committing suicide, had dinner with her family and interacted with them till midnight. However, she refused to go out with them and chose to stay back. In another post by Anjali, she mentioned how she felt lonely as it can be read as:

“There would not have been any issues if all had gone, but it pinches when the dear ones go.”

Anjali Varmora’s emotional posts highlight the possibility of an emotional betrayal in a relationship. This incident has again sparked the importance of mental well-being.
