She is one of those who started her journey from a small makeup studio and became a pioneer in the makeup industry. Meenakshi Dutt stayed relevant in the industry as she adapted to the latest trends. And a glimpse of the same was seen during her son's wedding. She gave major 'mother of the groom' goals to us.

Meenakshi Dutt wore an asymmetrical lehenga for son's Anand Karaj ceremony

Recently, Meenakshi Dutt's son, Kartikay Dutt, married Naetal Singh. Their wedding became a huge trend on the internet, as it was the first time a mom-in-law wore a lehenga that was exactly similar to her bahu. Apart from their Vedic wedding, the couple also took Laava Phere, also known as Lavan, which is performed during the Anand Karaj ceremony.

For the ceremony, Meenakshi Dutt picked a gorgeous pastel green-toned lehenga. It featured an asymmetrical kurta with a lehenga skirt. Her look was kept on point with an oversized maang teeka, a layered neckpiece, and earrings. She opted for dewy pink-toned makeup with soft eyes and hair styled in thick curls. 

On the other hand, the bride looked pretty in a pastel pink lehenga. She kept her look minimal for the day-wedding with soft green-toned jewellery. However, it was her baby pink chooda that accentuated her look. On the other hand, the groom looked stunning in a cream-toned sherwani.

Meenakshi Dutt wore a similar-toned lehenga as her bahu for Vedic Hindu ceremony

For the Vedic Hindu ceremony, Meenakshi dressed up in the same toned lehenga as the bride. While the bride looked stunning in a maroon and green-toned heavily embroidered lehenga, her mom-in-law, Meenakshi, wore a similar-looking maroon-toned lehenga with a heavy velvet dupatta.

We loved the bride's look, and how she opted for a three-layered necklace, an oversized maang teeka that made her look complete.
