'MasterChef Australia' Judge, Pooh Ling Yeow On Sara Todd Declan Cleary's Relation, 'Not Expected'

The new lovebirds on the sets of MasterChef Australia are Declan Cleary and Sarah Todd. They gave the biggest news to their fans of being in a relationship and moving in together. Their sea of followers were shocked, surprised when they came to know that Declan, aged, 27, moved in from Sydney to Melbourne with his dog to stay with Sarah, aged 37 and her 14-year-old son. Now, contestant-turned-judge, Poh Ling Yeow, was also surprised hearing the news of the duo being in a relationship and passed her comment.

Sarah and Declan's fans did not know that they would fall in love. The same case was with MasterChef Australia judge, Poh Ling Yeow, who shared that she did not know that under her eyes romance was going on between Sarah and Declan during the shooting. She was unaware that two of the contestants from the season were brewing romance. When Sarah and Declan went official about their relationship, Poh, in a TikTok interview, shared:

"It was happening in front of my eyes and I didn’t even see it, I feel like such a doofus. I don’t think anyone expected it because I think they’re such different people."

Poh, going ahead in the interview, shared that she was happy for Sarah and Declan, who are now staying together after completing the shooting of MasterChef Australia. Poh did confess to being stunned in the MasterChef kitchen when she got to know about these two contestants falling in love. Poh did make a startling observation on the personalities of Sarah, Declan and shared how both of them were different. In her words:

"But in many ways I can how they were really attracted to each other because Sarah’s actually super down to earth. She’s really quiet and introverted and Deckers is just of like all out. And I think they’re such a great contrasting match."

When Declan Cleary revealed feeling a strong connection to Sarah Todd

Declan and Sara, in an interview with the Stellar Magazine, confessed to being in a relationship. They spent a lot of time together, both on and off the sets of MasterChef Australia, and he felt an instant connection towards Sarah. She had landed herself in an elimination task when Declan asked Sarah out for a date, as he felt she needed to know how she felt. In his words:

"As she’s walking into the elimination [challenge], I said, "Sarah, can I ask you something? Would you like to go on a date with me?" And she just looked at me and said, "You’re a blo*** id***."

For Declan, seeing Sarah's response made him realise that his timing was poor when he asked her out. However, Sarah, with time, felt the same, and after the elimination challenge, stress was over; she realised that Declan's date approach made all the sense to her. The couple, for their first date, went to the iconic Grampians National Park, where they had a romantic getaway. They explored markets and restaurants that had picturesque beauty, and then went for a walk in the central Victoria Highlands. The couple has now been head-over-heels in love.
