Manu Bhaker is making history at the Paris 2024 Olympics, emerging as the first Indian woman to clinch two medals in a single season of the Olympic Games. The 22-year-old shooter's outstanding performance secured a bronze medal in the Women's individual 10m air pistol event and another bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event with Sarabjot Singh. Her achievements are not just milestones for her, but also a source of immense pride and inspiration for the entire nation.
Manu Bhaker made the entire nation proud as she bagged two bronze medals at the Paris Olympics 2024. Her popularity soared high, and now every big brand is approaching her for brand endorsements. So much so that forty brands have approached the Olympic winner for ad shoots after her two bronze medal wins.

Before her historic win in the Paris Olympics win Manu Bhaker used to charge Rs. 20-25 lakh per endorsement, but after the surge in her popularity, her fees increased by six times, and she now charges Rs. 1.5 crore per deal. As per reports by NDTV an endorsement of INR 1.5 crore is already finalised.
Undoubtedly, Manu is currently hitting the headlines for all good reasons. However, it's come to light that multiple brands, including KapeeFit, FIITJEE, Bajaj Foods, BSC Interiors, Kineto, Oakwood International School, LIC, and many others, have used her images in unauthorised Olympic congratulatory ads. These brands, which have not previously sponsored Manu, have raised serious ethical questions about their actions.

Thus, the team managing Manu Bhaker, IOS Sports & Entertainment, has issued legal notice against those brands as per a report by ET. The managing team is taking legal notices for infringing the athlete’s personality rights, a clear violation that deserves our empathy and support. Reportedly, India's first women Paris Olympics winner currently endorses only a sports gear and fitness fashion company, Performax Activewear. According to the ASCI code:
“Advertisements shall not, without permission from the person, firm or institution under reference, contain any reference to such person, which confers and unjustified advantage on the product advertised or tends to bring the person, firm or institute into ridicule or disrepute. If and when required to do so by ASCI, the advertiser and the advertising agency shall produce explicit permission from the person, firm or institution to which reference is made in the advertisement.”
