Breakups are bad, breakups are bitter, breakups hurt- this might be the mantra of every person who is going through a heartbreak. But trust me you, it’s for your own good! You might not believe what we say now, but years later, you will realise that whatever happens, happens for a reason. Sometimes, two people in love go a long way only to part ways forever, but it is important to trust your guiding angels and believe in the good of the universe. And one of the most famous (now ex) couples of the telly world, Srishty Rode and Manish Naggdev can totally vouch for the same. Manish Naggdev and Srishty Rode were almost spotted with one another every now and then and how we used to drool over the pictures of their holidays, meet-o-greet with other industry friends! But a sad piece of rumour about Manish and Srishty’s breakup came by in January 2019, when the latter came out of the Bigg Boss 12 house and it surely did break our hearts. Confirming the ‘rumour’ of their breakup to be true, once rokafied couple, Manish and Srishty went on their own separate paths.
After many backlashes and vent outs, Manish Naggdev and Srishty Rode’s Instagram posts suggest that they are content in finding their own solace. Time and again in interviews, Manish has never shied away from expressing his emotions about his breakup. In a latest interview, the Begusarai actor revealed if he ever will be in a relationship, given his breakup with ex-fiancee, Srishty wasn’t a very smooth one. He shared, “I believe that at the moment, I would not want to be in relationships. However, I believe in true love, and maybe with time, I will be able to prepare myself to be in a relationship.” And we totally hope for the same, Manish!
In an interview with SpotboyE, Manish Naggdev had gone on record and had spilt the beans on how Srishty Rode had broken up with him over a phone call. He had shared, "It was immensely disturbing. That was the time when I was shooting for Udaan and I can't tell you how difficult it was for me to handle it. I have always stood by her, even when she was inside the house, everyone saw how I defended her always, in spite of not knowing what's exactly going on inside the show. She comes out of the house and casually breaks-ups. Then I see her holidaying and posting pictures with different guys. It was extremely painful. The reality show definitely played up on her mind. She started thinking 'I am this and I am that'. It happens with people who are overambitious. They tend to forget those who stood by them in crisis and move on easily. I guess the same is the case here."
It was on June 7, 2019, after almost six months of Manish Naggdev and Srishty Rode’s breakup, when the former took to his official Instagram handle and shared a long open letter. He had captioned the post as "It's ok to vent it out. I hope all your questions have been answered with this. #stop." In the long open letter, Manish had penned, "PICHLI BAAR PYAAR MEIN LIKHA THA IS BAAR HOSH MEIN LIKH RAHA HOON. My dear fans, supporters, and followers must be wondering about my silence about my personal life in the last few months and ow while reading this you must be curious why? So let me tell you- I decided to express my feelings about the anguish I have gone through openly today despite being expected to "man-up" and stay silent because even if some people think I am stupid to talk about it please don’t forget MEN-JUST LIKE WOMEN HAVE DEEP FEELINGS." Manish Naggdev, in the letter, had also revealed that it was Srishty Rode who had broken off with him over a phone call. The 34-year-old star had written, "I have reached my tipping point today and I am tired of avoiding my families, friends and fans. I didn’t speak to you before about this because I was still unsure until recently about the status of my relationship with my partner. But what can I do? She hadn’t given me a proper closure after a 4-year relationship in which I involved her in every aspect of my life, family and my personal career. She had broken up with me over a phone call and when I had asked her if we could talk about it face to face, she replied saying, "I am at the peak of my career I don’t wish to be in this relationship anymore and as it is I am detached, what is left to talk about?" Here’s the complete letter here:
In a heart-to-heart conversation with TellyChakkar, Manish Naggdev had opened up about his breakup with Srishty Rode and the reason behind posting an open letter on social media. He was quoted as saying, “I don’t think I went out in public with the issue. The relationship and break-up were both public, so it had to also end in public. In the open letter, I talked about a show, I spoke about something that was already public knowledge and that needed to be shut in public once and for all. I haven’t put any allegations on anybody. In fact, if you read the letter, I haven’t even mentioned anybody’s name. I don’t have bad blood for anyone.” (Also Read: Latest Picture Of Kareena Kapoor Khan And Saif Ali Khan From London, He Flaunts An Uber Cool Tattoo)
