Rowan Atkinson bought a 1930s period property, Handsmooth House, in 2006. Along with the house, the veteran actor also purchased 16 acres of land in the 17th-century village of Ipsden, Oxfordshire, for USD 3.3 million. He bought the historic property along with his then-wife and makeup artist, Sunetra Sestry. For the uninitiated, Rowan was married to Sunetra for 24 years and parted ways in November 2015.
