Man Came To Visit His Sick Mom In India, With Wife, 2 Kids: 4 Of Them Died In Ahmedabad Plane Crash

The Air India Dreamliner crashed on June 12, 2025, when it was en route to London from Ahmedabad. A few minutes into the air and then it collapsed with a nearby medical college hostel, claiming 279 lives, as reported till now. The reason for the crash is being investigated along with the black box, and ahead of that, the experts mentioned that it might have been the case of double engine failure. Several families lost their close ones, and the glimpses and revelations have been leaving our hearts shattered. Now, another story surfaced wherein a picture-perfect family just ended with the tragic incident that took place.

A picture-perfect family, including two kids of 6 and 4, and husband and wife, died in the Ahmedabad plane crash. The man named Javed Ali Syed came to India with his wife, Mariam and kids, Zyan and Armani, to visit his sick mother. Javed moved to the UK 11 years ago, and there he fell in love with Mariam. The couple got married there, and Javed got British citizenship. The duo had two kids, and they lived a happy life.

While Javed was a manager of the Best Western Kensington Olympia Hotel, Mariam was the brand ambassador at Harrods. The family of four was currently residing in Kensington, London, and last week, they came to visit Javed's mom as she was sick with heart-related issues. Javed and his wife decided to celebrate Eid with the family and move back to London. In Javed Ali's cousin's words:

"She is suffering from a heart ailment, and moreover, the festival of Eid ul’ Azha was scheduled to take place. So Javed came with his family to get her treated and celebrate the festival with us."

Javed Ali Syed didn't get a ticket to London from Mumbai, thus, he chose Ahmedabad

Javed Ali Syed and his entire family's bodies have yet to be recovered, but his brother and uncle have reached the hospital for DNA testing and blood sample examinations. Javed's elder sibling revealed that his brother and his family came to India after a long time, and it turned out to be a nightmare. Javed's cousin revealed that the former and his wife were not able to book tickets to go to London from there, and for the same reason, the family travelled to Ahmedabad, as they got flight AI171.

His brother expressed his regret for the couple not going to London via Mumbai and remained determined to find the bodies for the final closure. He also showed photos of his brother, sister-in-law, nephew and niece to the local police and remained spellbound. On the other hand, Mariam's sister-in-law from the UK requested the UK government to help the families find the 53 individuals with British Citizenship, who were on board during the plane crash and couldn't survive.

What might have caused the Ahmedabad plane crash?

The black box is currently being investigated to understand what might have caused this deadly incident. Ahead of that, the media portals contacted the aviation experts, and they laid out certain points, as per which, this crash might have happened due to one engine or both engines' failure, or birds entering the engine, making it catch on fire instantly. It was also said any kind of human or mechanical fault could also be the reason for the plane crash.
