Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan's IG Accounts Banned In India, While Fawad And Atif's Pages Are Accessible

Hania Aamir was reportedly about to be a part of Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3. Well, it was after the Pahalgam attack that reports started claiming that the actress might have been dropped from the movie. Well, Hania Aamir along with another Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan have a huge fanbase in India. But it was on April 30, 2025, when the actress-duo's IG accounts got banned in India.

On the other hand, Fawad Khan and Atif Islam's IG profiles remained accessible to Indian people. Fawad Khan was all set to re-enter Bollywood with Abir Gulaal, and its release was also cancelled in India. Along with Hania and Mahira, Ali Zafar and a few other Pakistani artists' profiles were also banned as well. Earlier, several Pakistani YouTube channels have been banned too in India.

Pakistani actors like Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan expressed their hurt over the same. Hania revealed how irrespective of where someone lives, the incident actually was heartbreaking. Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan also took to their respective social media handles and condemned such an act. Well, it was seen that all the actors, after a while, ended up deleting their posts about the Pahalgam attack. The reason behind this isn't known, but it seems to be due to the intensified situations between the two countries.

Hania Aamir and Mahira Khan enjoy a huge fanbase, and people love their work. Talking about Hania, she often drops videos of her dancing to Indian songs, and people also love her content. It was only two days ago, when a video went viral, where several Indian fans of Hania were seen sending the packed-up box to the actress that was filled with water bottles. The video was for meme purposes, and netizens slammed the makers for such content on such a serious topic. As India has suspended the World Bank-mediated Indus Waters Treaty of 1960 with Pakistan, thus, people started making meme content about the same.

Mahira Khan, too, has a fanbase from India, and she often takes to her IG handle and drops snapshots from her life to remain engaged with her fanbase. Mahira Khan was earlier seen in the Bollywood movie, Raees alongside the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
