Are 'Love Is Blind: UK' Fame, Ashleigh And Billy Broken-Up? Army PT Says, 'I Have To Be Selfish..'

After much anticipation, the Love Is Blind: UK Season 2 weddings have finally aired on Netflix. However, there is a twist. The four couples who reached the altar were left to decide whether they wanted to stay together or part ways. Nonetheless, a promo from the upcoming episode has revealed some shocking details. As one of those couples, Ashleigh and Billy had a few doubts about whether their relationship could work in the real world.

Did Billy and Ashleigh call it quits?

From the pod, Billy had initially revealed that he would never marry someone who worked in cabin crew. He shared that it was because he feared that they would never get to spend any time together. The physical trainer also argued that their eating patterns were extremely different. The doubts crept into his mind, and ahead of the big day, Billy told Ashleigh that he still wasn't 100 per cent sure about tying the knot.

Billy explained to Ashleigh in the pods that he didn't see how things would work for them, given her busy schedule. However, she reassured him that she would eventually move to a 9-to-5 job, so that they could have a normal life and start a family. Their next bump in the road came during a shopping trip when Ashleigh wanted to add some items to the trolley, including sweet snacks. As he followed a stricter diet plan of meat and vegetables, Billy didn't see the need, and it caused some tension between them.

However, later, the cabin crew can be seen opening up to Billy about the bullying she faced as a child. She revealed that this created an uncomfortable relationship with food. She said that as she has grown older, she has learned to love her body and has a positive relationship with food, allowing herself treats along the way. While they managed to move past the issues, Billy was still not sure about his decision. In a preview, Billy can be heard telling his mother:

"To be honest, mum, I have to be selfish up there. I hope she can forgive me."

Are Billy and Ashleigh still together?

The question remains: did the couple stick together? Well, as far as we know, Ashleigh and Billy are still together after tying the knot on the show. The couple got married while surrounded by their family and friends, with the bride telling Billy that he was the kindest and respectful man she had ever met. After the ceremony, Billy also explained that the only thing that had been holding him back was fear. He was quoted as saying:

"I knew as soon as I saw you today, there’s only one outcome I ever wanted. You are my future, Ash."

However, the fans will have to wait still August 31, 2025, to see how married life is treating the couple. Love Is Blind: UK Season 2 reunion airs on Netflix on Sunday.
