Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer has kept viewers hooked with its interesting courtroom battles and 'Mickey Haller's sharp legal mind. But the end of Season 3 left viewers stunned when the brilliant defense attorney himself was arrested for murder. The shocking incident has set the stage for his toughest trial yet.
It not only shifted the whole narrative but also raised one important question: Will 'Mickey' defend himself when he's the accused? Let's know what Season 4 would bring to the table.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 will be based on Michael Connelly's sixth book in the Lincoln Lawyer series, The Law of Innocence. This time, the stakes would be much higher than they ever were. It is because 'Mickey' will not be representing a high-profile client; he is the client. After the police found a body in the trunk of his car, 'Mickey' is thrown into a chaos of accusations. It is not wrong to say that he will face the most personal trial of his life.
According to Tudum, co-showrunner Ted Humphrey said that the new season will open by revealing the charges and adversaries on 'Mickey'. But the main suspense is whether he can clear his name, which would stretch across all 10 episodes. Although Netflix has yet to make an official announcement, What's on Netflix reports that The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 could premiere in February 2026. Especially February 5, 2026, could be the likely date. If the report is true, it will be the show's first winter release, following previous seasons that came in summer.
As per Netflix, the upcoming season will feature a promising mix of familiar favorites and some interesting new additions. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo will return as 'Mickey Haller', joined by Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson. Neve Campbell, who plays Mickey's ex-wife, 'Maggie McPherson', will also return as a series regular for the first time, adding more drama to the storyline.

While Season 4 is confirmed, fans are already wondering about the show's future. Although Netflix hasn't officially renewed The Lincoln Lawyer for Season 5, some hints point to a strong possibility. The series is based on Michael Connelly's best-selling novels, and with several books yet to be adapted, like the new Resurrection Walk, there is a lot of source material available to the creators. In their conversation with Tudum, showrunners have also expressed interest in continuing 'Mickey Haller's story well beyond Season 4.
