Aryan Khan's much awaited directorial debut, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood released on September 18, 2025, and since its release, the show is generating a lot of buzz. Amid the appreciation and buzz, the lead actor of the show, Lakshay Lalwani opened up about his experience on working with big superstars like Aamir Khan, SRK, Salman Khan and more.
After giving a powerful performance in the show, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, actor, Lakshay Lalwani sat down for a candid interview with Firstpost, in which he shared his experience of working with superstars. When Lakshay was asked if he was intimidated by them, the Kill actor mentioned that he always considered himself as the star and everyone else was entering his words. He explained:
"I never felt that they are the stars. I always felt I’m the star and they are in my world, probably because of the character I was playing. I was playing Asman, and I thought, Oh! They’re in my world. I’m not in their world. So I feel it like that."
In the same interview, Lakshay also spoke about reuniting with Raghav Juyal after working on the film, Kill. He revealed that in Kill, these two were poles apart, but off camera, they used to have a lot of fun. Lakshay shared that he was very glad that Raghav played his best friend in the show. In his words:
"It’s a lot of fun because I think, in Kill of course, we were playing our characters. He was playing Mani and I was playing Amrit. We both were poles apart. But, off-screen, we were having as much fun as two boys from up north can have. So working with him is always a pleasure, and, it doesn’t feel like work when you work with, Raghav. Very glad that, he played that part of my best friend in the show, and there’s nobody else who could have done what he has done on the show, honestly."
The series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood is Aryan Khan's directorial debut show, which is streaming on Netflix. The show follows 'Aasmaan Singh' (played by Lakshya Lalwani) as he chases success, faces ego clashes, and gets pulled into industry politics. The series shows how dreams come with a cost and how friendships and values are tested along the way.
With Aryan Khan as the director, the series is co-written by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. It is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. Apart from Lakshay Lalwani as the lead actor, the series casts Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Karan Johar and more. Early reviews call Aryan’s debut entertaining and bold.

Lakshay Lalwani started his career on television and rose to fame with the show, Porus. He shifted to films and in 2024, made his debut with the Dharma film, Kill, alongside Raghav Juyal. His role in the film got him both fame and recognition. Later, he played the lead in The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Reportedly, he will next be seen in the film, Chand Mera Dil, alongside Ananya Panday.
