Milind Chandwani prefers to stay low-key despite his bond with Avika. But, his Instagram handle has revealed multiple details about his professional achievements. He had pursued an MBA from the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad and worked in a 9-5 role as a software engineer at Infosys. However, he didn't just limit himself to the corporate world. Milind followed his passion for social change and founded an NGO, Camp Diaries. 

As per the social media profile of the organisation, it works towards providing the gift of creative and skill-based exposure to underprivileged children. Apart from this work behind the camera, he took a step towards showbiz by participating in MTV Roadies Real Heroes in 2019 in Neha Dhupia's team, where he left the audience impressed with his confidence and humble nature. He is popular on Instagram with nearly 1 lakh followers.

Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani come from different culture and professional backgrounds. However, they came across each other in Hyderabad in 2020. Avika, in a conversation with Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa, shared that they met through mutual friends, and despite her liking towards Milind from the first day, he friend-zoned her. In her ego, she agreed, and it continued for six months until things deepened between them. Avika had already married him in her mind after their initial meetings, but he took time. Sharing the reason behind it, she said:

“Woh bahot samjhdar hai. After six months, he told me, 'Okay, I love you, too!' So I asked him, 'yeh six mahine kya drama kya tha' and like a nice boy, he explained to me that he didn't want to rush things and see we actually liked each other as friends, and only then we will take things forward." 

Milind Chandwani and Avika Gor have a 'filmy proposal' story 

Avika Gor had shared that it was Milind's idea to take time and explore more things with Avika before tying the knot. She was 26, and he was 32 when they decided to give time to their bond. However, on June 11, 2025, she took to her Instagram and shared the pictures from their Roka and engagement. In the picture, Avika looked elegant in a pastel pink printed saree with a white, silver border and a simple necklace as she hugged and posed with Milind Chandwani for the official pictures from the ceremony. At the same time, he looked dapper in an ivory kurta-pyjama with a pastel pink Nehru jacket adorned with intricate flower design. Avika shared a note expressing her happiness and penned:

"He asked. I smiled, I cried and screamed the easiest YES of my life! I'm full of filmy — background score, slow-mo dreams, mascara running and all. He's logical, calm, and 'let's carry a first-aid kit just in case.' I manifest drama. He manages it. And somehow, we just… Fit. So when he asked, the heroine in me took over — arms in the air, tears in my eyes, and zero network in my brain. Because of real love? It may not always be perfect. But, It. Is. Magical."
