Nadagouda, who got trapped inside the elevator of a residential building. Rescue efforts were made, but the injuries were fatal. She was seen celebrating her eighth anniversary, and the second picture was all things wholesome. It was a selfie of Samrudhi with her son, Chiranjeevi Sonarsh K, and Kirtan, all smiling for the perfect shot. The little toddler was seen wearing an orange-hued t-shirt and looked at the camera with all innocence. Samrudhi had captioned the snaps as:

"8 years to the best decision you’ve ever made and being stuck with me for the rest of your life! Here’s to many more years of annoying you and loving you!"

Rescue efforts to save little Chiranjeevi Sonarsh were made, but as the accident happened in seconds, the toddler could not be saved. The injuries sustained by the child were grave, and the family is in a complete state of shock. Chiranjeevi Sonarsh's untimely demise has affected everyone in the Kannada movie fraternity. One of the stars who came ahead and sympathised with the situation of Kirtan and his family was South actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan. He tweeted:

"The tragic death of director Sri Kirtan Nadagowda's son is heartbreaking. The tragedy that befell the family of Sri Kirtan Nadagowda, who works in Telugu and Kannada film industries, has left me deeply saddened. Chiranjeevi Sonarsh K. Nadagowda, son of Sri Kirtan and Smt. Samrudhi Patel Nadagouda, has passed away. I was deeply saddened to learn about the death of four-and-a-half-year-old Sonarsh, who got stuck in a lift."

Pawan Kalyan, in his tweet, expressed his deepest condolences to Sri Kirtan and Smt. Samrudhi. He also penned of praying to the almighty to give the pair courage to overcome the grief related to the loss of their son. Apart from Pawan Kalyan, there have been many stars who have offered condolences and prayed that Kirtan and Samrudhi get strength to bear the loss. From filmmakers, actors, and technicians, many have come forward from the Telugu movie industry to give a message of support related to the sorrow of the pair and also sympathised with them.
