Venkitesh VP is the next big superstar, and people are eyeing him for his recent Telugu debut film, Kingdom. He is playing the role of 'Murugan' in Vijay Deverakonda's upcoming film. The young star's promising acting and confident speech during the promotional events prove that he has the desire to be the hero of every hit film. But not many know that Venkitesh comes from a humble background and runs an idli food truck.
Venkitesh VP's dream is to be a big star, and acting runs in his blood. The actor started his acting journey from minor roles in Malayalam movies such as Velipadinte Pusthakam. After which, he got a big break with the Mammootty-starrer, The Priest. Venkitesh VP has also worked in films such as Kh-Kho. Apart from it, Venkitesh has also worked as a villain in the film, Stand-Up.
After Venkitesh's videos from the pre-release event of his upcoming film, Kingdom surfaced on the internet, netizens rushed to search more about him. Later, they found out that Venkitesh is not just an actor, he also runs a street food truck, which is a pure veg eatery named Suda Suda Idli with his friends.
It is located at Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple, South Nadu, opposite Sunil Wax Museum in Trivandrum. The food truck runs from Tuesday to Sunday. The food truck was launched in 2024. And it is worth mentioning that Venkitesh is often seen at his food truck making idlis, taking orders and serving people. An internet user also shared:
"For the Telugu people who don't know him, he came from a TV reality show & then runs a street food idly kada at Trivandrum now. He is still making and serving people idlis there. A true inspiration for all."
At the pre-press release event, Venkitesh VP, left everyone astonished with his outspoken personality and how he talked about coming from a humble background. He didn't make his struggle look fancy, but relatable as he confessed that it was the first time he had seen such a large crowd. He accepted that he had always dreamt of this moment.

Venkitesh revealed that he had started his journey as a background artist in Malayalam movies and TV serials. He had only one or two dialogues, he had even played a villain in a Tamil film, and now he has acted in Kingdom opposite Vijay Deverakonda, and it took him nine years of struggle. He said:
"This is the first time I’ve seen such a large crowd. I’ve always dreamt of this moment. In the Malayalam industry, I worked my way up from being a background artist in TV serials and movies to an artiste who had one or two dialogues, to a small artiste, played a villain in a Tamil film, and now, I have come to Kingdom. It took me nine years."
Venkitesh didn't let the chance go and he even added that he wanted to work with Sithara Entertainments again but as a lead hero. He wants to see himself as a star one day. Venkitesh further went on to request producers and directors to consider him. He was quoted as saying:
"I am so proud of myself. I hope I work with Sithara Entertainments again, this time as a hero. I just want to see myself as a star someday. Directors and producers out there, please do consider me. I am very excited, that’s why I am behaving like this. Naa intro ki clap cheyyandi (Please clap for my intro)."
Talking about the film, Kingdom, it stars Vijay Deverakonda in the role of a young man who challenges the system filled with corruption and power play. He is a rebel who is determined to bring change. Bhagyashri Borse is playing the role of his love affair, who is the pillar of support in his life.
