Khushi Mukherjee, a former contestant of MTV’s Splitsvilla 10, has garnered a lot of attention for her bold fashion choices. In 2013, she made her acting debut with the Tamil film, Anjal Thurai. The actress has recently fallen under public scrutiny due to a video in which she was seen wearing a golden bold outfit. Several times, Khushi has found herself in hot water for her daring outfit choices. However, in a recent conversation, Khushi slammed the users who trolled her bold fashion choices.

In a candid conversation with Viral Bollywood, Khushi slammed trolls for commenting on her golden bold outfit. For the uninitiated, earlier in 2025, a video of Khushi went viral, in which an old man made a lewd comment about her bold outfit. Addressing the particular video, Khushi spoke her heart out and shared that she was wearing a thong. Khushi also shared that she was not at all uncomfortable wearing that dress, but rather protecting herself from an 'oops moment'. In her words:

"Kya aapne dekha tha ki maine chaddi pehni thi ya nahi? Of course, koi chaddi ke bahar toh nahi nikalega, right? Maine thong pehni thi, aur maine uski strip upar karke rakhi thi. Hawa chal rahi thi—kya main poora udaake show karti? Main usko sambhal rahi thi, main uncomfortable feel nahi kar rahi thi. Phir bhi mera ‘oops moment’ click ho jata hai."

Khushi Mukherjee was trolled for her bold outfit

Earlier in 2025, a video of Khushi surfaced on the internet, in which she was seen wearing a golden halter-neck ensemble featuring a daring backless cut, a plunging neckline, and a thigh-high slit. She accentuated her look with bold eye makeup, big hoop earrings and kept her hair open. In the particular video, an old man who seemed to be a passerby commented a crude remark, "Chadi pehna isko!" Soon, the video went viral, and netizens criticised Khushi's fashion choice, calling it shameful.

Khushi Mukherjee claps back at trolls for showing double standards

Earlier in 2025, Khushi sat for an interview with 'A see Aadii' from Filmibeat, where she was asked about the same viral video. In response, Khushi shared that she had worn similar dresses earlier, and people should not judge her personal life based on her clothing choices. Khushi also clapped back at trolls for showing double standards and shared that Mouni Roy had worn a similar kind of dress, but she hadn’t been trolled. She also reacted to the old man’s comment and said that he seemed to be a 'drunk psychopath'. In her words:

"I've been wearing clothes like this, I am like this. You cannot judge my personal life by looking at my clothes. You have to meet me in person, you have to talk to me and spend a day with me only then you'll know who I really am as a person. I think Mouni Roy also wore a similar outfit. Paris Hilton ke bolenge 'she lives America', so I can't compare myself with her but when Mouni Roy had such a similar outfit didn't get targeted and didn't get trolled. Why am I getting targeted? I didn't even react to the comment. If a normal person had commented, I would have reacted. The man wore torn clothes and looked like a psychopath."
