Keshav Dhanraj And Marcia D'Souza Embraces Parenthood, Calls Their Baby Girl, 'A Biggest Blessing'

Keshav Dhanraj and Marcia D’Souza are on cloud nine as they welcome their little bundle of joy. For the unversed, Keshav works as a drummer in Sanam Puri's music band. On May 28, 2025, the new dad shared the good news. Taking to his Instagram handle, Keshav revealed the face of their baby girl. For the unversed, on March 15, 2025, the couple announced that they were pregnant. The little one came to this world on May 18, 2025. In a recent interview, the new daddy and mommy shared their feeling and experiences while embracing parenthood for the first time.

Keshav Dhanraj shares his feelings when he saw his baby girl

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Keshav shared how he and his wife, Marcia, were a bit over-prepared for their little Mia’s arrival. The new dad also shared how the duo became emotional when they first saw their little baby girl. Keshav also praised the beauty of his little daughter. Sharing the emotional moment, Keshav said:

"It was planned so well out for us that it felt like she was already a part of our lives. But the first time me and Marcia saw her, heard her cry and held her hand, we were both in tears. I was like, 'you know me, you've heard my voice before, and I know you.’ Mia is just so adorable. I'm surprised how beautiful and sweet she is."

In the same interview, the new daddy also shared the meaning of the name of their little daughter. The couple named the baby girl, Mia Sky Dhanraj. In his words:

"Mia has different meanings in different languages, which mainly symbolises love and belonging. And when she was born, she was clearly a Mia."

Marcia D’Souza calls their baby the biggest blessing

In the same interview, the new mommy, Marcia, called their baby the biggest blessing in their lives. She shared how their baby girl is getting all the love and attention of their family members. Marcia also shared that when she and her husband, Keshav, are at home, the duo spends most of the time with their baby girl by staring at her tiny fingers and feet. The new mommy revealed that when she and her husband come home, they fight to take Mia in their arms, which she considers as crazy and fun.

Further in the interview, Keshav shared how the doctors were stunned to see Marcia’s recovery, post her delivery. The new father shared that usually, women take time to recover and remain bedridden after giving birth to babies, but the new mom was exactly the opposite. She tried to walk and talk with everyone, who came to see her.

In the same interview, Keshav shared that being a parent of four dogs, the feeling of fatherhood is not new to him, but this time, the experience was a bit different. The new father also shared that although the experience was different, the sense of responsibility remained the same. He also shared how beautifully his pet dogs and his baby girl have gotten along. In his words:

"While this experience is a lot different, still the responsibility level seems to be similar. And the way that our dogs and the baby have gotten along, it’s incredible. All four dogs have changed completely, they're so protective around her. Earlier I used to be the one protecting them, but now suddenly they're protecting her."
