The legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan needs no introduction. His exceptional work in the Indian film industry speaks volumes about him. He was born to the veteran poet, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and social activist, Teji Bachchan on October 11, 1942. Currently, Amitabh Bachchan is winning hearts on the small screen with his game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. Moreover, time and again, we have witnessed him discussing his childhood memories on the show. Now, again something similar happened as he talked about his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
In the latest episode of the quiz-based reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, the contestant, Vaibhavi Padodara, a mathematics teacher from Surat, Gujarat can be seen taking over the hot seat. She even impressed Big B with her command on mathematics. However, it was Amitabh Bachchan's reaction to it that caught our attention. Recalling his childhood days, the legendary actor revealed that when he was a kid, his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan used to take him for morning walks and would often ask him to repeat multiplication tables for practice.

This is not the first time, when Amitabh Bachchan had recalled his childhood memories. Earlier, in one of the episodes of the show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, the Senior Bachchan had shared an interesting story from his childhood. Talking about the same, the Pink actor mentioned that once his mother, Teji Bachchan had beaten him for listening to a cricket match commentary over the transistor.
Amitabh Bachchan had shared innumerable tales from his childhood on the game reality show. For instance, in one of the episodes of the reality show, the legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan had shared a story from his schooling days. Recalling the most beautiful phase of his life, the Coolie actor revealed that he used to jump the boundary wall of his college, Sherwood College, in Nainital in order to visit the nearby girls' school and see them.

Apart from talking about his childhood days, Amitabh Bachchan had also talked about his marital life with the veteran actress, Jaya Bachchan. In another episode of the fourteenth season of the game reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Paa actor was seen talking about keeping a fast on the auspicious festival of Karwa Chauth. He had shared that in the initial years of his marriage with Jaya Bachchan, he also used to keep a fast on Karwa Chauth. However, he added that after some years, he stopped doing so.
For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan got married in the year 1973. Later, on March 17, 1974, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Shweta Bachchan into their lives. However, their family got completed after the birth of their son, Abhishek Bachchan on February 5, 1976. Moreover, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are loving grandparents to three amazing grandkids, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya's film, Uunchai.
