Amid Feud, Karisma Kapoor Reportedly Demands Share In Ex-Husband, Sunjay Kapur's 31,000 Cr Business

Sunjay Kapur's demise on June 12, 2025, came as a shock to many. He reportedly was playing polo when he swallowed a bee, and it led to an allergic reaction and ultimately a heart attack. Now, after Sunjay's demise, his mother, Rani Kapur, raised suspicions about her son's death and revealed that she had been forced into signing some documents. She also said that she didn't give her approval to Sona Comstar to select anyone to the board of directors. Now, reports stated that Karisma is somewhat involved in the feud.

For the unversed, Karisma Kapoor married Sunjay Kapur back in 2003. The couple became parents to two kids, Kiaan and Samaira. It was in 2016, when Karisma divorced Sunjay, while making some shocking allegations. However, over the years, the couple co-parented their kids and maintained a cordial bond. While Sunjay got married to Priya Sachdev Kapur, Karisma remained single. If the reports are to be believed, during the divorce agreement of Karisma and Sunjay, a bond was signed, which was worth Rs. 14 crore.

Reportedly, Sunjay gifted this to his kids, and it also generated Rs. 10 lakhs per month, which were used for their education and other necessary expenses. Well, whatever the case may be, a recent report has been suggesting that Karisma demanded her share in Sunjay Kapur's Rs. 31,000 crore business, Sona Comstar. This news came when the family of Sunjay Kapur was already in the news with these shocking claims by Rani Kapur. After Sunjay's demise, the chairman designation was given to Jeffery Mark, while Priya Sachdev Kapur was appointed as the non-executive director of the firm.

How did Sunjay Kapur die? And why did his mother call this suspicious 

Sunjay Kapur was playing polo in the U.K. when he reportedly swallowed a bee, which caused an allergic reaction and finally led him to breathe his last, suffering a heart attack. It was several days later that Sunjay Kapur's mortal remains were brought to New Delhi for the final rites. Karisma Kapoor and her kids were also a part of the funeral.

Now, a month after the tragic incident, Sunjay Kapur's mom, in a letter, revealed that she thinks her son's demise to be suspicious. Revealing the reason, Rani Kapur said that she didn't receive any clear explanation about what caused her son's death. She also mentioned that she has been denied access to all of her existing accounts, and she has been living in mercy.

Rani Kapur also made a shocking claim by mentioning that she was forced to sign papers behind locked doors. She revealed that she was not in the mental state to understand the documents, and even after asking for clarity multiple times, she was denied any explanation, and rather, she was forced to put her signature on those papers.
