Karisma Kapoor Spotted With Son In Delhi Amid Late Ex-Husband's Rs. 30,000 Crore Estate Battle

After the sudden death of Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, the Kapur family dynamics have shifted. While the late businessman's mother, Rani Kapur, has raised a lot of suspicion around his sudden death, she claimed that she had not appointed any board of directors. Amid these reports was the fact that Karisma might be seeking a share in her ex-husband's estate.

On July 30, 2025, Karisma Kapoor was papped checking out of Delhi airport. Her son, Kiaan Kapur, also accompanied her. The actress was dressed up in a white-hued oversized shirt with long sleeves and bell-bottom jeans. She styled the look with open hair, subtle makeup and black glasses. On the other hand, her son was dressed up in a white-hued t-shirt with a pair of shorts. 

Sources revealed Karisma Kapoor's role in the legal matter of her ex-husband's property dispute

When rumours were rife that Karisma was seeking a share in Sunjay's real estate, the source close to the family denied the same. In an interview with the IANS, the source stated that Karisma has no involvement in any inheritance or property-related matters. However, the source confirmed that it is her children, Samaira and Kiaan, who are the rightful heirs to the late Sunjay Kapur's property, and they would be receiving what is rightfully theirs. On the other hand, the actress is only focused on her children's health and well-being.

It is worth mentioning that Rani Kapur, the mother of late Sunjay Kapur, sent a letter to the board of Sona Comstar. She allegedly claimed that her son's death in London was highly suspicious and unexplained. Despite her repeated requests and attempts to access the documents, she is not being provided with the right answers. Rani Kapur further went on to say that she has not given her consent to anyone to be appointed as a member of the board of directors of her son's firm. Another explosive revelation was that she is living on mercy after her son's demise, and her access to all her accounts has been denied.

Later, in an interview with ANI, Rani Kapur added that she has no idea what happened to her son. She stated that she remembers the start of the family business, and she won't let it get lost, but will pass it on rightfully. She shared:

“I still don't know what happened to my son. I am old now and need closure before I go. I may be old and frail now, but my memory of being with my husband when Sona (Sona Comstar) was set up is strong. I remember the early days of Sona (Sona Comstar), built with care, sacrifice and love. I am here to remind the world that our family legacy must not be lost. It must be passed on as my husband always wanted to be."
