Shahid Kapoor was recently at the press conference of his film, Deva's trailer launch. The press asked him an indirect question about the unfortunate incident that happened at Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's home on January 15, 2024. Shahid reacted to it and shared that it was a very unfortunate incident. In Shahid's words:
"This is a sad incident and we all from the entertainment fraternity are very worried. We hope that Saif's health improves soon. We were all very shocked by this incident. Hum saab fraternity se bohot bohot concerned hai. We hope Saif's health is better, and hum saab bohot shocked hai."
Shahid further added that it is really scary that something like this happened to Saif, and he wishes him a speedy recovery. He expressed his shock over the incident and how can something like this can happen in Mumbai, which is said to be one of the safest states in India. He also wished Saif a speedy recovery.
Saif Ali Khan was stabbed several times by the burglar. The cuts were so deep that the blade of the knife was surgically removed from his body. The surgery was crucial and a success, but the actor has still not gained consciousness. It has almost been 24 hours since the operation, but Saif is still admitted to the ICU, and the doctors are closely monitoring his health progress.
Soon after, Saif Ali Khan came out of OT after hours-long surgery. The robbers reportedly stabbed him in his spine, causing the fluid veins to rupture. He is now stable but admitted to the ICU as doctors are monitoring his condition. A dishevelled Kareena Kapoor was spotted at Lilavati Hospital after the surgery. Kareena Kapoor avoided the media and rushed into the hospital. She was there for a few minutes but soon returned home to her kids. As per reports, Saif Ali Khan is admitted to the ICU and is unconscious, which is why visitors are not allowed to meet him at the moment.
