The 'Kapoor Khandaan' is not just filled with talented stars. They are the Bollywood royals who have created a legacy. At the moment, the Kapoor family is being ruled by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena's cousin and Alia Bhatt, his wife. RK is known as the 'chirag' of the Kapoor clan due to his powerful screen presence and fan following. However, now a statement of Kareena went viral where she shared that Ranbir has not taken the legacy of the 'Kapoor khandaan' ahead.

Ranbir is known for his impactful line of films. However, it was Karisma in the 90s who came ahead from the Kapoor family, got fame. As in the Kapoor clan, the men ruled the Hindi film industry. Now, Karisma had broken the image of the traditional male stars, enjoyed stardom and then Kareena tried her luck and got lucky in the industry. All this took place even before Ranbir made his debut in the industry. Now, Kareena's recent statement with Mojo Story surfaced, where she revealed Ranbir has not been the one who took the Kapoor legacy ahead. In her words:

"I think we’ve carried on the Kapoor legacy. It was only me and Karisma before Ranbir came in. So the two girls, actually like my mother says, they’re not tigresses, they are tigers because they did take the legacy forward."

Bebo did highlight that Karisma's groundbreaking journey in the Hindi film industry had created a lasting impact as a lady in a male-dominated family of big stars. It seems like netizens agreed with Bebo as one Redditor commented, "Karisma walked before Kareena and Ranbir could run. Karisma cried before Kareena and Ranbir were even an embryo." A user also commented, "That’s not what she said. Kareena said till Ranbir came along, it was the Kapoor girls who carried on the legacy. She’s not wrong, though. Especially, regarding Karisma, who isn’t acknowledged enough for the hard work she put in to reach the top. All three 3 Kapoor’s are talented actors."

Karisma had made his Bollywood debut back in 1990 with Prem Qaidi being the first project that she did in 1991. Karisma then gave blockbuster movies such as Raja Hindustani, Dil To Pagal Hai, and Fiza. Kareena also experimented with her roles in movies such as Chameli, Jab We Met and created a name for herself due to her work in big-budget movies that allowed her to be prominent in the industry. It was in 2007 when Ranbir stepped into the industry with his finest movies, such as Saawariya, Rockstar, Barfi!, and Sanju, which explored him as an actor.

On the work front, Kareena was last seen in Rohit Shetty-directed Singham Again, where she played the on-screen wife of Ajay Devgn. The film also had Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and Shweta Tiwari, to name a few. Karisma, on the other side, was last seen in Murder Mubarak. Ranbir, on the other hand, had a blockbuster success with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, where his role next to Rashmika Mandanna received mixed reviews. He is now all set for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana and will also be seen in Animal Park along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War.
